Knock Knock! It’s Vir Das on TikTok

Stand-up comedian, actor, musician and versatile performer, Vir Das recently made his debut on TikTok, the world’s leading destination for short format videos. From sharing dog videos to capturing light moments from his daily routine with a twist, the stand-up comedian can have you in splits with his content on the platform.
He recently also shared a song titled ‘Coronavirus Blues,’ available on TikTok, encouraging listeners to cancel their plans and be at home to stay safe.

A.R. Rahman on TikTok | When you get to beat-box Rahman style on TikTok

TikTok regarding the A.R. Rahman joining TikTok and how he is collaborating with leading creators on the platform.

Women play an integral role in our lives. They take up challenging roles and are pillars of strength for many. With their inspiring spirit, they also become our motivational drivers, counsellors, dependable figures and so much more than they get credit for.

BTS debuts the new album title track “ON” exclusively on TikTok


• This is the first time BTS has pre-released 30 seconds of the title track of MAP OF THE SOUL:7
• The title track "ON" will be available to TikTok users worldwide on February 20
February 20th, New Delhi - TikTok, the world's leading destination for short-form mobile video with a mission to inspire creativity and bring joy, will exclusively pre-release a clip of the title song “ON” from BTS’ highly anticipated new album ‘MAP OF THE SOUL: 7’.
Users will be able to enjoy the new song “ON” 12 hours ahead of the official release of the album, which will be exclusively available through TikTok. Worldwide BTS fans will not only be the first to enjoy a 30-second clip of the song but also create their TikTok videos with the music.
BTS officially joined TikTok on September 25, 2019, and soon claimed the world record for fastest time to reach one million followers, achieving a record time of 3 hours and 31 minutes. TikTok community celebrates cinematic occasions creatively

The renowned actress Yami Gautam, who is playing the character of a popular TikTok creator in the movie, also created a secret TikTok account to prepare for her role.

TikTok Launches #CNSchallenge in 40+ Countries and Regions Globally with the release of BTS j-hope’s new music

India, September 27th, 2019: To usher in the reveal of BTS j-hope’s ‘Chicken Noodle Soup (feat. Becky G)’ today, TikTok, the world’s leading short video platformlaunches #CNSchallenge, its latest global in-app challenge in over 40 countries and regions including the U.S., France and India
#CNSchallenge, whose name takes inspiration from the abbreviation of j-hope’s ‘Chicken Noodle Soup (feat. Becky G)’, invites TikTok users to dance to the beat of the song’s catchy chorus. Other BTS members will also be uploading their own videos.
TikTok users can participate in this challenge in over 40 countries and regions globally, including the U.S., U.K., France and India from September 27 to October 4 (in Korea time) by creative videos to the tune of ‘Chicken Noodle Soup (feat. Becky G)’ with the hashtag ‘#CNSchallenge’.
The ‘#CNSchallenge’ challenge is the second official collaboration between BTS and TikTok, with the first one being the ‘IDOL Challenge’ that took place last year. This in-app challenge aims to deliver j-hope’s ‘Chicken Noodle Soup (feat. Becky G)’ to the world in a new way on TikTok, which has ranked No. 1 in the number of worldwide downloads on the App Store last August (as per Sensor Tower, non-game category)
BTS has officially joined TikTok on the 25th, prior to the launch of the upcoming challenge. The account has gained more than 2M followers and 4M likes within 13 hours of opening, proving BTS’ global fame. Followed by the first video that celebrates the opening of their official TikTok account, BTS will be using this channel to engage with their fans across the globe. 
j-hope is set to reveal his collaboration with Becky G ‘Chicken Noodle Soup (feat. Becky G)’ on September 27 at 6PM KST, accompanied with a music video, for free.
