A MeetandGreet with Zee Kannada’s Paaru Actors Winners of Zee Kannada’s PaaruSeereSuggi meet and greet with Arsanakote family



Zee Kannada’s most loved show Paaruand its characters have become the talk of every household in Karnataka. Recently, the show offered their ardent fans a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet their favourite characters Paaru(Mokshitha), Aditya (Sharath), Damini (Sitara) and Akhilandeshwari (Vinaya Prasad) at the Arsankote house on the eve of Deepawali by organizing PaaruSeereSuggiSambhrama Contest. On answering the questions at the end of every episode through SMS, 10 lucky winners earned the golden chance to savor the celebratory festival feast hosted by Akhilandeshwari and her Arsanakote family. Furthermore, all the winners were gifted sarees worth about Rs. 25,000fashioned by Akhilandeshwari on the show. The meet and greet session took place on Saturday, October 26th at Arsanakotefamily house.
Among approximately 7 lakh participants, the following lucky winners received a rare opportunity to spend an evening with their most-loved artists -Poornima from Dharwad, Anitha from Chitradurga, Kavya from Tumkur, Shilpa from Belgum, Mahadevamma from Hassan, Chaitra from Koppala, Chandrakala from Shivamogga and Rani from Mysore.
Paaru and Aditya welcomed the winners to the Arsanakote house with the traditional aarti tatte. The actors commenced the interactive session by breaking the ice and finding out where each of their fans hail from. Through this session of tete-a-tete, Paaru and Aditya were overwhelmed by the response they received from the winners. Showcasing their love towards the show, the winners along with Paaru sang the title song of the show in its full glory.Later, Akhilandeshwari and Damini also joined the session, wishing the winners a healthy and prosperous Deepawali.
Anitha from Chitradurga elucidated an anecdote about how her toddler, Kushal gets excited to watch the show and imitates every dialogue delivered by Aditya. Poornima from Dharwad explained the personal connect to the serial by correlating Paaru and her father’s character with the rapport she shares with herfather.Akhilandeshwari pointed out that it is fascinatinghow even men in an everyday household are delighted to watch the show.
The fans hailing from various parts of Karnataka, some of them who travelled up to 600kms across the state, brought unique presents for their favourite characters. Renuka Devi from Koppala presented Akhilandeshwari with a blue cotton saree and the traditional baagina – a sacred gift given to married women by their mother. Overwhelmed by this gesture, Akhilandeshwari promised that she would fashion this saree in at least one of the episodes of Paaru. Meghana from Shivamogga gifted Paaruwith an idol of Lord Ganesha and prayed that the show should not face any harm. Poornima hailing from Dharwad shared special sweets on the festive occasion.
The entertaining evening included several queries from the winners, and comical moments, when Akhilandeshwari teased Damini, giving the winners a feel of the show in real-life. The meet-and-greet saw many lively moments, when Akhilandeshwari sang several songs likeMoodalKungalKere, NimkadeSambarandre and other folk songs.All winners unanimously agreed that since the show timings match their supper hour, they never miss even a single episode of Paaru. Theyexpressed their gratitude to the actors for the wonderful show, wishing the team would attain greater success in this journey.
Later that noon, the winners were invited to the festive feast of Baaleeleyoota, where they were served Deepawali special dishes by Akhilandeshwari, Paaru, Aditya and Daamini. The sumptuous Deepawali feast including holige with ghee served by Akhilandeshwari was appreciated by the Arsanakote’s lucky guests of the day. The winners were thrilled to receive the sarees fromAkhilandeshwari, and therefore thanked the Arsanakote family for being a great host and sparing time to meet them on the eve of Deepawali.

A Meet-and-Greet with Zee Kannada’s Gattimela Actors

Zee Kannada’s most popular show Gattimela,and its characters Vedanth(Rakshith) and Amulya(Nisha) have become the talk of every household in Karnataka. Recently the show decided to take a step further for their ardent fans, and hosted a quiz contest on Zee Kannada’s social media platformsthat has intrigued all Kannada viewers. Vedanth and Amulyaorchestrated a Meet-and-Greet with the winners, to conclude the quiz contest, on Friday, August 2nd at Nagarbhavi.
The quiz contest consisted of one question at the end of every episode on the channel’s social media platforms, for the followers to answer in the ‘comment’ section. The following lucky winners received a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to spend an evening with their most-loved artists,MeghuRadika, Vinay, Meghana Ramachandra, Goutham Gopinath, Harini Shankar, Arun, Sangeetha, Chandana Bharath, Jayashree Shetty, Jayashree Prasad, Bhuvana, Lakshmi Sri Dixit, Megha Sajjan, Arun, Santhosh and Soumya Kiran.
The actors commenced the interactive session by breaking the ice and finding out where each of their fans hail from.Through the evening, Vedanth and Amulya were overwhelmed by the response they received from the winners. Soumya Kiranread out a poem she wrote as a tribute to the Gattimela actors and the show. The powerful words urged Vedanth to hold on that piece of paper as a souvenir that will always remind him about the all-encompassing love of his fans for the show.Vinay from Kundapura elucidated his personal connect to the serial by correlating the characters to his relationship with his girlfriend. Santosh established his love for the show by proactively downloading the Zee5 app after watching one episode on television with his mother. The entertaining evening included several queries from the winners, and amusing elements where Vedanth teased Amulya time and again as he would in the show, giving the winners a feel of the show in real-life. All winners unanimously agreed to witnessing a show such as Gattimela for the first time that did not include the customary drag for a cliff-hanger.

Zee Kannada’s Kamali accomplishes a milestone of 300 days


Kamali, one of Zee Kannada’s most popular fiction show, has successfully completed 300 days recently. The unique story line of Kamali is thoroughly appreciated by the audience. The plot of Kamalirevolves around ofthe young girl hailing from a village who wishes to pursue her dreams of becoming a professional Kabaddi player. Moving to the city, she lives close to Annapoorna, and the two of are unfamiliar about their relationship of Kamalibeing Annapoorna’s firstgranddaughter. Saroja a.k.a Gowri, Kamali’s mother, made the decision to bury this truth from her husband Chandrakanth, and Annapoorna, in order to protect Kamali’s life from Kamini, Anika’s maternal grandmother, as it would lead to property disputes. Kamaliwitnesses an enormous twist that will completely alter the pace of the story as Annapoorna, played by Padmavasanthi,announces that Kamali is her granddaughter, in front of media.
Annapoorna, being oblivious of the fact that Kamali is her own granddaughter, seeks for her help.As Annapoornarecognized the deception in the name of her first granddaughter was to loot her of her property. Out of sheer respect, Kamali accepts Annapoorna’s request, and is unaware about this development leading her life to be in danger. Kamini, Urmila,Anika’s motherand Anikaremain in denial after learning that Kamali is the granddaughter of Annapoorna, while they plan the murder of Kamali.Rishi’s mother Tara, who wanted Rishi to marry Annapoorna’s first granddaughter is also in a dilemma after this development. Meanwhile, Rishi is ecstatic about being able to marry Kamali easily as she gets introduced as Annapoorna’s first granddaughter.Kamali takes her missions of revealing critical information to Annapoorna, of high importance, however, fate has different plans for Kamali once again.
The circumstance allows Sadanand, Kamali’s friend, to feel positive about this issue surfacing as it could lead to happiness in Kamali’s life. With Saroja living miles away from Kamali, her hopes stay strong about Annapoorna now protecting Kamali from all the upcoming problems.

Zee Kannada’s Weekend with Ramesh Season 4 to witness Narayan Murthy and Sudha Murthyon the Sadhakara seat

Returning to Bangalore from France,Narayan Murthy expressed his love for Sudha Murthy and proposed to her in an auto rickshaw. He married her in the year of 1978 with the condition of receiving no jewelry from Sudha Murthy’s father, and to equally share the wedding expenses of 800 rupees.After tyingknot, Narayan Murthy decided to start his own business, with Sudha Murthy being the first investor. The company started with an investment amount of 10,000 and 6 friends in Pune and is now worth of 3 lakhs 25 thousand crores, with 42 branches all over the world, employing over 2 lakh people today.
Narayan Murthy, an achiever who has received the Padmashri and Padmabhushana, is a man of simplicity. When his lecturer Seetha Ram came on the stage of Weekend with Ramesh, Narayan Murthy bowed to him with utmost respect.
Sudha Murthy is more than just being Narayan Murthy’s strong support system for. She is known for her modesty and intelligence. Sudha Murthy was born in Shiggavand later relocated to Hubli with her family. Her house in Hubli is now transformed into a publiclibrary which is named after her father, Shri Ramachandra Rao. She graduated from BhoomareddiCollege of EngineeringHubli andspecialized in Electricals and Electronics as well. During her college, she faced severe issues due to improper sanitation systems. It was this experience that incepted the thought behind constructing over 15,000 toilets in Gulbarga.
Sudha Murthy also fought against Devadasi culture and rescued more than 20,000 women. She made them self-reliant by teaching them various life skills likestitching kaudi (a handmade blanketusing small pieces of cloth). She has also written a book named 3000 Stitches which speaks of her mission against the Devadasi culture and the challenges she faced during this journey. As a symbol of protection, she gifts kaudi to her beloved ones.
Sudha Murthy, highly invested in the cause of social service, donates around 400 crores on behalf of Infosys Foundation every year. She has earned various awards including the Padmashri. Despite her bounteous achievements, she remains to be one of India’s most humble role model. When her guru, Sumathi Yadappanavarappears on the show,Sudha Murthy stands up to bow to her for curtsey, and does not sit until her guru leaves the stage, as an act of respect.
