The Indian Performing Right Society's IPRS CreativeShala presents an online jam session with Siddhartha Shankar Ray (Sidhu) . The eight session will take place on Thursday, 23rd April at 7:00 pm LIVE on Siddhartha Shankar Ray (Sidhu) Instagram page.
“IPRS CreativeShala”, an initiative by The Indian Performing Right Society Ltd. is all about creatively utilizing the newfound leisure time and being positive amidst the crisis. It’s an exciting opportunity for all music enthusiasts to hear from the experts in the field of music and enhance their skill set or rekindle their passion for music. IPRS CreativeShala series will entail a series of jamming sessions with a fun blend of masterclass, interviews, workshop and live chat by well-known musicians, composers, lyricists and authors on music and creative writing, streaming LIVE every Thursday & Monday on Instagram at 7:00 pm.
On 23rd April, the eight session of IPRS CreativeShala will be conducted by Siddhartha Shankar Ray (Sidhu) . He is the founder & lead Singer of Bangla Rock Band Cactus. Since its inception, they have recorded four full-length studio albums and have performed over 2500 concerts across India & abroad. It was the first ever band to offer a new genre to Bengali music scene- a Bengali Rock band. He will be discussing about - Advent and evolution of Bengali Rock Band. A new era of music which revolutionized modern Bengali songs. The session with Sidhu in talks wtih Mayur Puri will take place on Thursday, 23rd April 2020 at 7:00 pm on their respective Instagram handles.
