Quarantine Home Videos & Global Giving Come Together to Spread Joy during Covid-19 Pandemic

India, 9^th April 2020 – Quarantine Home Videos (QHV), an initiative by two young enthusiastic individuals and Global Giving, the first and largest global crowdfunding community for nonprofits in the US come together to spark joy and happiness, when the world may feel uncertain. While most of us around the world have been isolating ourselves at home, we have been united now more than ever, virtually. Funny, light-hearted, innovative videos are making this crisis situation a lighter one.

QHV is a platform where everybody around the world can share their quarantine videos and spread happiness in the world. The submitted videos will be uploaded on QHV’s YouTube channel and the most viewed video could get a chance to win a hefty sum!

Steps to enter the contest:

1.    Submit your quarantine home video(s)

2.    Enter your details and upload the video on http://www.quarantinehomevideos.com

3.    Registration charges of INR 150 per video, to be paid during submission

4.    Get a chance to win up to INR 75,00,000 or more

*20% of all proceeds will be donated to the Global Giving for Coronavirus Relief Fund

Rules and Regulations:

1.   Entrants have a chance to win up to ₹75,00,000 or more

•      1st Place: 10% of Total Entrance Fee, up to ₹75,00,000 or more

•      2nd Place: 7% of Total Entrance Fee, up to ₹52,50,000 or more

•      3rd Place: 5% of Total Entrance Fee, up to ₹37,50,000 or more

•      4th Place: 3% of Total Entrance Fee, up to ₹22,50,000 or more

•      5th Place: 2% of Total Entrance Fee, up to ₹15,00,000 or more

•      6th Place: 1% of Total Entrance Fee, up to ₹7,50,000 or more

•      7th Place: 1% of Total Entrance Fee, up to ₹7,50,000 or more

•      8th Place: 1% of Total Entrance Fee, up to ₹7,50,000 or more

•      9th Place: 1% of Total Entrance Fee, up to ₹7,50,000 or more

•      10th Place: 1% of Total Entrance Fee, up to ₹7,50,000 or more

2.            Last date of submission: 15th May 2020 (23:59 hours IST)

3.            Video Duration: Maximum 1 minute.

4.            Video Format: .avi, .mpeg, .mp4, .mov

5.            All Videos will be uploaded on “QuarantineHomeVideos” YouTube Channel

6.            Number of views on YouTube will be calculated till 31st May 2020 (23.59 Hours)
