Mumbai, April 2020: Being quarantined and self-isolated due to COVID - 19, is a new challenge that we are currently facing. When reality kicks in, we need to stay positive and support each other through the tough phase. Now, here’s a breath of fresh air and positivity.
Taarini Gupta, (a.k.a ‘Taara G’), a talented NRI living in Singapore and an 8th Grade student of Singapore American School, took up the challenge to make the best of the “shutdown” time to spread Joy and Positivity and boost the morale of people sitting at home, across the world. She wrote, sung and created a COVID-19 Unity Anthem Song Video (titled “We Don’t Want the Virus”) that spells out the current situation in a quirky manner.
The song reminds people, in a humorous way, to stay indoors, to stop this virus from spreading and to support Professionals and Governments to fight the virus. Her song has opened a new horizon of hope and reminds us the power of unity. The video keeps our feet tapping to a happy beat and garners participation from people all over the world. It’s truly a unity anthem and we indeed agree with you Taarini, you have our full support. Your brevity has touched our hearts and enlightened our souls too.
While we continue to live in isolation, we should continue to stay positive, regularly communicate with friends and family, while maintaining social distancing and ensure we make the most of this time.
