India’s largest offline event for youth went online amidst huge demand and fanfare, over 2 lakh attendees graced the digital summit across 3 days

· Popular names such as Yami Gautam, Vir Das, Mallika Dua, Alaya F etc discussed a variety of topics such as music, comedy, content creation, film, food, mental health etc.
Under 25, India’s largest youth movement founded by Anto Philip and Shreyans Jain hosted the first ever 4-day digital summit- Pyjama Edition. In the midst of COVID-19 and self-isolation being practiced across the country, the event witnessed a bunch of talented and dynamic personalities like Yami Gautam, Vir Das, Alaya F, Malika Dua, Faye D’zousa, Sejal Kumar amongst others with each sharing a lot of positivity and encouragement with the youth of India. The four-day digital festival, which was a mix/mashup of celebrities taking over Under 25 Dictionary’s Instagram stories and performing on Instagram Live, covered various topics of interest like food, music, comedy, content creation, film, mental health etc.
Day one started with Akash Iyer, brand and editorial manager, Netflix India taking over Under 25 Dictionary’s Instagram handle. He spoke about how TikTok is a very good platform to view fresh content, along with various in-app tools that make TikTok perfect for millennial consumption followed by popular comedian and actor Vir Das, who shared his thoughts on how to write a joke. He suggested beginning a joke with an actual fact, a piece of truth and ending the joke with a punch line.
Actress Yami Gautam gave the youth tips on surviving the industry and what it takes to become a great actor. She spoke about how it’s important to remain true to oneself while trying to make it into the industry. She even added,” A platform like this in times like these has helped to show a better and productive side of social media. Under 25 Summit has contributed at its best in such tough times by connecting everyone and keeping people positive”
The first day ended on a soul-stirring live performance by singer Aishwarya Suresh. She also spoke about how she spends her time in quarantine.
Day two started off on a high note with award winning journalist, Faye D’Souza. She brightened everyone’s day by sharing good news at the Under 25: Pyjama Edition. She shared positive news regarding the coronavirus pandemic that has been dominating news headlines for months now. Her session was followed by Sumedh Chaphekar, Founder, CEO- NoFilter who spoke about building a brand in 15 seconds. He had 3 guests on his segment: Aashna Hegde, Angry Prash and Nagma Mirajkar. They discussed building your personal brand, and the importance of quality versus quantity and consistency while trying to make it on a platform such as TikTok.
Next up was, talented actress Alaya F who took over the Summit by answering questions from the audience and shared a few tips that every budding actor needs to know about. The day ended with a bang with Rapper Spitfire’s performance. He took things down a notch and read out poetry that he had written. He also performed a track that he had produced.

Day three was all about beating the Monday blues starting with content creator, Sejal Kumar who shared a few pointers on content creation. She spoke about how you need to figure out a topic first, then move to writing a script, finishing it off with the editing process where everything comes together. Next up was Malika Dua who spoke about her struggles with anxiety, how accepting anxiety helps in fighting it. The next in line was filmmaker and writer Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari. She spoke about tips you need to know about the film industry as a budding filmmaker. She spoke about how every movie she has worked on has given her new opportunities and new ideas. At the end of day three, singer Barbie Rajput gave an enchanting live performance at the Summit, enthralling the audience. She interacted with the audience, making it a more personal and intimate performance.
As a special treat to their audience, Under 25 announced a surprise session on Day 4 by Mouth of Pigeon, the famous art and design studio. They took over the @under25dictionary page for the Summit and took the audience for a seriously fun ride with their innovative, fun ideas. They took ordinary everyday household items and made them into fun characters and took us through their day.
