Webinar on the impact of COVID-19 on agriculture supply chains to be organized by O4S

O4S, a leading SaaS start-up enabling businesses to have a 360° control over their downstream supply chain, is hosting an enriching webinar on Agriculture Distribution Supply Chain in times of COVID-19. Titled as Agriculture Distribution Supply Chain - COVID-19 a Pause or a Refresh?, the webinar is aimed at discussing the impact of COVID in India’s agriculture supply chains. 

The Agriculture Sector has been a mainstay for the Indian Economy from two fronts namely through its contribution to India’s GDP as we are still an Agrarian economy and also through the financial support generated for millions of households which are dependent on agriculture as an occupation. The sector accounts for 18% of India's GDP and provides employment to around 50% of the entire workforce. Despite the Agricultural Ecosystem playing such a pivotal role, it is plagued by several challenges that have thwarted the growth, sustainability, and willingness to change within this sector. This has become more challenging with COVID-19 pandemic disrupting the food supply chain creating high transaction costs and uncertainty.

'Agriculture Distribution Supply Chain - COVID-19 a Pause or a Refresh?', will highlight the current challenges in the Agriculture Sector, discuss the impact of COVID-19 as just a pause or enabler of changes, and the way forward to help build towards sustenance and agility in the sector.

The webinar will host prominent panellists from the sector, Mr. SK Gupta, Ex-CEO, JK Agri Genetics, Mr. Ramana Rao, CEO, Ganga Kaveri Seeds, and Mr. Satish G S, Managing Director, Limagrain Field Seeds. The session will be moderated by Mr. Arsh Gujral, National Sales Head, O4S.
