Get ready for Ranga Shankara's virtual 'Mango Party' this weekend!
Sunday,14th of June 10,2020- 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM

Ranga Shankara's iconic 'Mango Party' dons a brand-new digital avatar and goes online between 2 to 5:30 PM on 14 June, '20, on the Ranga Shankara's Facebook page.
There will be a mango quiz hosted online by Arundhati Nag, MD Pallavi, Sihi Kahi Chandru and Vivek Madan. The quiz will take place in 4 rounds with a one-hour interval between rounds.
Other highlights of the party include the announcement of the winners of the storytelling and recipe contests, streaming of the winning videos during the online party, and a delicious mango-focused menu curated by Anju of the RS Cafe, with delicacies such as aamras puri, mango cake, shrikhand puri and mango kulfi on offer. Additionally, Jayanth Kaikini, Dundiraaj, Apara and Jogi have written poems for the digital Mango Party. They will be recited in the online party.
The storytelling contest was for children between 5 and 6, whereas the recipe contest was open to all. Top stories and recipes were chosen by a panel of judges to be streamed on the Ranga Shankara Facebook page. The online quiz, to take place at the Mango Party, will be open to all and can be played individually or in teams. The party will wind up with a trailer that celebrates the party's 18 years of history.
"Our mango parties have always seen people from all walks of life come together at Ranga Shankara to celebrate and relish these delicious fruits, bonding over the common love for mangoes. In keeping with a 'never-say-die' spirit, we wanted to bring back the party this year, so going online was inevitable! We hope everyone joins us virtually by getting together at home to eat the mangoes, just as they would have at RS. The team has also come up with a line-up of fun online events, so send in your entries and encourage your friends and family to do too!", says Surendranath S, Artistic Director.
More details on the events and the schedule can be found on Ranga Shankara's Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/rangashankara/)
