Unacademy Road Safety World Series legends say #HatsOffNaari on International Women’s Day

Some of the most legendary names in the world of cricket have come together to compete in the Unacademy Road Safety World Series to promote road safety. With the matches in full-form, viewers are witnessing some spectacular action on the pitch between cricketing greats like Sachin Tendulkar, Virendra Sehwag, and Sanath Jayasuriya! As the world celebrates International Women's Day, the legends will also be seen saluting women around the world in a special way and celebrating it with much fervor with the COLORS Cineplex campaign #HatsOffNaari

To mark the special occasion, the captains of  South Africa Legends and West Indies Legends  Jonty Rhodes and Brian Lara, before their match, along with the 28 members of both the teams will gather on the ground sporting caps with the message, #HatsoffNaari. As a gesture to show their support towards women around the world, the players will do a hats-off gesture to all the women present in the stadium and all those watching it at home!  The respective captains of the two teams will also share a few anecdotes about women in their lives.

Back in the studio, anchor Ronak and Sanjay Manjrekar will be doing a hats-off to Lisa Sthalekar, former cricketer and captain of Australia's international women's cricket team.

Whilst the matches are being played in Raipur, the Government of Chhattisgarh has today given free tickets to women to come and watch the action on the field.

Watch Unacademy Road Safety World Series from 5th-21st March at 7 pm LIVE on COLORS Cineplex, Rishtey Cineplex, Voot, and Jio.
