12th May 2022 in Mumbai-  The graduate students of "Pearl Academy" celebrated the culmination of their journey and announced the beginning of their professional life at a mega event "Pearl Portfolio'22", an annual student event where all the students from Pearl Academy's School of Fashion, School of Design, School of Contemporary Media and the D School of Business in Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore displayed their final projects on which they were graded.
This year's theme was "Tech and creativity" where the students displayed the future of parallel realities, a sci- fi universe with unimaginable possibilities. Hundreds of graduating students displayed their extraordinary creative maturity and imagination power through their projects; to thousands of industry guests, parents, design intenders, and media personnel.  The students gave a heavy dose of fashion & glamour exhibiting an assortment of timeless drapes, hues, and casual attire with glitterati from the fashion world.
Graduates made a conscious effort to support India’s crafts and artisans. They worked with traditional craft clusters from around the country. With fabrics from handloom clusters across the country, their collection manifests their fundamental values of sustainability, timelessness, and individualism.
Alka Madhan, Regional Director of Pearl Academy West says "Pearl Academy has always supported the thriving desire of budding talent to reform new rules of fashion and creativity. Every student is trained towards perfection by understanding their personal skills and interests. The belief is to create fashion entrepreneurs and not just design generators"
Viveck Vaswani, Dean, School of Contemporary Media says "Pearl Academy is known to give the best creative talent to the media, entertainment, design, and fashion industries. Our growth as a creative institution started in Delhi but we are a pan India organization, growing rapidly!’
Boman Irani says "It's always nice to see young creative people encouraged to bring out the best in them. They have the opportunity, and platform to carve a path for themselves. It excites me to see so many talented, digital, virtual & physical worlds coming together as one. This platform will provoke a thought process in them to think of the future. I wish them all the best"
Actor Fardeen Khan says "This year about 200 graduating young talents from the school of Design, Business, Fashion and Media of Pearl academy Mumbai have come together to gain industry-level experience and produce outstanding designs for recognition. I am going to take a sneak peek of what the creative young minds have accomplished"
