Divya Prem actor Suraj Pratap Singh reveals he observes fasts on Shravan Somvar: It’s a beautiful tradition that brings us closer to Bholenath and to each other*

Divya Prem actor Suraj Pratap Singh reveals he observes fasts on Shravan Somvar: It’s a beautiful tradition that brings us closer to Bholenath and to each other*
There’s something about Shravan. The air feels calmer, the prayers deeper, and the connection to Lord Shiva stronger than ever. For actor Suraj Pratap Singh, who plays the role of Prem in Divya Prem: Pyaar Aur Rahasya Ki Kahani on Sun Neo, this sacred month is not just a period of devotion, but a deeply personal journey that mirrors both his real and reel life. Just like his on-screen character Prem, a devoted Shiv bhakt marked by a Trishul tattoo, Suraj too carries the same symbol on his arm in real life. It is a reflection of his unshakable faith in Bholenath.

Sharing his thoughts, Suraj says, “I’m a devoted Shiv bhakt, and the month of Shravan holds a very special place in my heart. I follow it with complete dedication and a deep spiritual connection. It’s such an auspicious time. Everywhere you go, you can feel the divine energy through the ongoing pujas and chants. At home, my mother and I both observe fasts on every Shravan Somvar. It’s a beautiful tradition that brings us closer to Bholenath and to each other.”

He further adds, “These days, because of my tight shooting schedule for Divya Prem: Pyaar Aur Rahasya Ki Kahani on Sun Neo, I don’t always get the chance to visit the Shiv temple every Monday. But whenever I do find time, I make sure to go. The best part is that there’s a Shiv mandir right on our set. So even if I can’t step out, I still get to offer my prayers. For me, Shravan is not just the beginning of all major festivals. It’s a time to pause, reflect, and reconnect with Lord Shiva from the heart.”

Divya Prem: Pyaar Aur Rahasya Ki Kahani tells the story of Divya, a girl from Ujjain whose life takes a magical turn after meeting Prem. The show blends love, mystery, and secrets from the past, as it unravels a gripping fight between good and evil. Starring Megha Ray, Suraj Pratap Singh, and Kavita Banerjee, the show airs every night at 8:30 PM, Monday to Sunday, only on Sun Neo.

Apollo Cancer Centres Launches ‘End-O Check’ – An Early Screening and Diagnosis Program for Endometrial and Ovarian Cancers

·         End-O Check will provide risk-based assessments, diagnostic testing, and symptom evaluation for women, particularly those in the postmenopausal age group

Navi Mumbai, 30 July 2025: Reinforcing its commitment to preventive oncology for women, Apollo Cancer Centres (ACCs) today launched End-O Check, a comprehensive early detection program targeting women aged 45 and above. The initiative is designed to detect two of the most prevalent gynaecologic cancers—endometrial and ovarian—at an early and more treatable stage.

Ovarian cancer, often referred to as the “silent killer,” affects women between 55 and 64 years of age, with the average diagnosis occurring at 63. When caught early, the 5-year survival rate exceeds 90%.

In India, the total cancer cases are projected to grow to 1.57 million by 2025, with ovarian and uterine cancers continuing to report among the top 5 cancers affecting women. The age-standardized incidence rates are estimated at 4.6 per 100,000 for ovarian cancers and 2.5 per 100,000 for corpus uterine cancers2. Contributing factors include shifts in reproductive patterns, urban lifestyles, and a rise in metabolic conditions, highlighting the urgent need for targeted  detection in high-risk populations.

While endometrial cancer often presents with symptoms such as unexpected bleeding or abnormal discharge, many women fail to report these signs early, leading to delayed diagnosis and poorer outcomes.

End-O Check is designed with a focus on early detection in high-risk populationssymptom awareness, and timely intervention, empowering women to take proactive steps for their gynaecologic health.

Speaking at the launch, Mr. Dinesh Madhavan, President, Group Oncology & International, Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd, said, "Early detection remains our most powerful ally in improving survival and quality of life in cancer care. End O Check is a proactive step in shifting the narrative from treatment to screening and early diagnosis , enabling timely detection, and precision treatment  by cancer management teams”

Dr Richa Bansal - Consultant Gynec Oncology, Laparoscopic & Robotic Surgery Apollo Cancer Centers Mumbai said, “Endometrial cancer has been on the rise in women above the age of 45 years, so early detection is crucial for better outcomes. Global data indicates a 5 year survival rate of around 96% for localized disease. However, survival rates drop substantially when diagnosis is delayed, underscoring the importance of timely detection. Key risk factors include obesity, diabetes, early menstruation, late menopause, and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), all of which are becoming more prevalent among Indian women.”

Dr Bindhu KS - Sr. Consultant Dept of Ob Gyn & Robotic Surgery, Apollo Hospitals Navi Mumbai said, “Radiology plays a crucial role in the early detection of gynaecologic cancers. Through End-O Check, we are integrating transvaginal ultrasonography (TVS) as the diagnostic tool to help identify subtle changes that could indicate early-stage ovarian or endometrial cancers. Early imaging intervention allows clinicians to act promptly, improving treatment options and outcomes for patients."

Dr Anil D’cruz –Director Oncology & Sr Head & Neck Onco Surgeon Apollo Cancer Centres, added, “With End O Check, we are expanding our preventive oncology efforts. This program is about creating sustained awareness, encouraging women to prioritize their health, and ensuring equitable access to reliable cancer detection tools. Early detection not only saves lives—it also enables less invasive, more effective treatment options.”

Ipsitaa Jenaa on playing Chaaru in Prathaon Ki Odhe Chunri: Beendani, says, 'Chaaru is nothing like any role I’ve played before'

Every actor wishes to play a role that pushes their limits and lets them explore something new. For actress Ipsitaa Jenaa, this dream is coming true as she steps into the role of Chaaru, the male lead Kundan’s sister, in Sun Neo’s upcoming show Prathaon Ki Odhe Chunri: Beendani. She shared how excited she is to be a part of the show.

While sharing her excitement, Ipsitaa Jenaa said, “I’m genuinely thrilled because Chaaru is nothing like any role I’ve played before. She’s this bubbly, full-of-life girl who, because of the way she looks, isn’t getting any marriage proposals. So, she ends up seeking attention from boys—but in a playful way. At the same time, she’s smart enough to keep a good image in front of the family. There are so many layers to her, which makes playing Chaaru super interesting for me.”

Ipsitaa further added, “The moment I read about Chaaru, I knew this character was special. The mark on her face doesn’t just define her look—it shapes her journey and brings some unexpected twists to the story. I’m really enjoying getting into her skin. And honestly, getting to work on a show written and produced by Raghuvir Shekhawat Sir is such a big deal. I feel incredibly happy and thankful for this opportunity. I just hope the audience showers Chaaru with the same love they’ve always given me.”

Rooted in tradition and driven by raw emotion, Prathaon Ki Odhe Chunri: Beendani follows the journey of a fearless woman who dares to defy age-old customs to carve her own path. Watch this powerful story unfold soon, only on Sun Neo.

Rose Ayling-Ellis and Charlotte Ritchie steps into a world where silence speaks volumes with ‘Code of Silence’ premiering on Lionsgate Play this August

_Lip-Reading, Lies, and Danger: Code of Silence Premieres August 1st on Lionsgate Play_

Silence speaks volumes in *Code of Silence*, a riveting new British crime drama premiering exclusively on *Lionsgate Play* this *August 1st*. At the heart of the suspense is an unusually endearing heroine: Alison Brooks, played by hearing-impaired actress Rose Ayling-Ellis, a working-class deaf canteen worker whose life takes an extraordinary turn when her remarkable lip-reading skills thrust her into a high-stakes police investigation targeting a dangerous criminal gang. As Alison navigates a perilous world of lies, undercover work, and unexpected attachments, including a complicated connection with prime suspect Liam Barlow (Kieron Moore), her life becomes a tangle of danger, deception, and discovery. And, as she’s pulled deeper into the case, her silence becomes her strength, and every unspoken moment holds deadly weight.

Bringing a fresh and distinctive perspective on crime and communication, Code of Silence weaves a powerful and emotional narrative, highlighting crucial representation for the Deaf community. It's a story of resilience and courage, where a woman long underestimated finds her voice in the most unlikely of places. With Charlotte Ritchie, Andrew Buchan, and Fifi Garfield bringing layered performances alongside Rose Ayling-Ellis, the series blends thrilling twists with heartfelt depth, shining a spotlight on what it truly means to be heard in a world that too often refuses to listen. Don’t miss the gripping debut of this acclaimed British series where silence isn’t weakness, it’s power.

*Talking about what excited her to take up this project as the lead, Rose Ayling-Ellis shared,* _“It offers a more truthful experience of a Deaf person lip reading. You want to be authentic to the experience of Deaf people, but it's an entertaining drama as well so you need a mix of the two. Code of Silence has a Deaf character at the center, and you can't just ignore that, but she's got other stuff going on too. Catherine Moulton, the writer, is also becoming increasingly hard of hearing, and once she’d decided to learn how to lip read, she realised it was more difficult than she had thought. That's what got me most excited: somebody else experiencing it, not just me coming in and telling people what it's like to be Deaf. For example, everyone thinks you can lip read from a distance and see everything someone says, but it's not always like that. Lip reading is a puzzle, and you really see that in Code of Silence."_

*Talking about her character, lead actress Rose said,* _“She’s living in Canterbury and working lots of different jobs to make ends meet. That's what a lot of people are going through in this country, but she has more of a challenge because she really has to prove herself to people. You can give a Deaf person a job in a pub and think they're going to be so grateful just to have it, but it might not be what they really want to do. I can relate to that experience.”_

*She further added,* _“Before I did any of this, I worked in Sainsbury’s, I worked as a gardener, I was a seamstress, but I never got promoted and never got to work my way up. I'm not the only Deaf or disabled person to have experienced that, which is why the police job is such a big deal for her. She feels empowered because she's doing something that the police can't even do themselves. She really comes to love that power, even if she goes too far sometimes.”_

Indian Real Estate's financial discipline spurs credit upgrades and equity market surge; ~INR 400 Bn raised via IPOs since 2021- Colliers India

·       Bank credit to the real estate sector has doubled since FY 2021; loan book at over INR 35 lakh crore at the end of FY 2025

·       Leading real estate companies have shown improvements in operating and net profitability margins

·       Debt-to-equity ratio of top 50 listed real estate companies has seen a significant drop since FY 2021, signaling steady balance sheet deleveraging

·       Credit rating upgrades in real estate are significantly higher than the number of downgrades in the post-pandemic era

·       Real Estate continues to tap the equity market – 7 IPOs totaling to INR 76 billion in 2025 so far

Bengaluru, 29th July 2025: India’s real estate sector has continued to exhibit marked improvement in terms of financial health in the post-pandemic era, outperforming other major industries in the economy in terms of critical credit and financial metrics. The last decade has been eventful for Indian real estate, resulting in structural changes. Events such as the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act (RERA), Goods and Services Tax (GST) implementation, demonetization, Non-Banking Financial Companies (NBFC) crisis and the COVID-19 pandemic have only made the sector more resilient, transparent and competitive. Particularly post the pandemic, the real estate sector has demonstrated a strong ‘V-shaped’ recovery. Overall, the financial prudence of Indian real estate is reflected in improving credit rating of companies driven by better operating & profitability margins, leverage ratios etc. In this context, we have assessed the aggregate financials of the top 50 listed real estate companies in India in terms of profitability, gearing & market performance.

Credit deployment in Indian real estate on the rise

The sector’s access to credit has improved significantly in absolute terms, though with evolving dynamics amongst banks and NBFCs. While the share of banks in overall credit exposure to Indian realty has increased notably and NBFCs have become relatively averse to real estate exposure post the 2018 crisis, the outstanding loan book for both banks and NBFCs has grown significantly in the last decade.

Gross bank credit in India has grown significantly, from INR 109.5 lakh crore in FY 2021 to INR 182.4 lakh crore in FY 2025. Bank credit in the real estate sector has impressively doubled in the same period, from INR 17.8 lakh crore to INR 35.4 lakh crore. Importantly, real estate now accounts for close to one-fifth of the bank credit deployment in the country, signaling growing lender confidence in the sector.

In addition to increased lending to the real estate sector, the quality of loans has also improved significantly. The proportion of Gross Non-Performing Assets (GNPA) in the construction industry loan book of banks has significantly reduced from 23.5% in March 2021 to 3.1% in March 2025.

“Indian real estate sector continues to demonstrate resilience and financial prudence even in the wake of external volatilities. In fact, the strong financial health of the sector is demonstrated by significantly higher proportion of credit rating upgrades during FY 2025 as compared to upward revisions in other economic sectors. The relatively higher credit quality of real estate loans is well supported by underlying strong demand-supply dynamics across multiple asset classes such as residential, commercial, industrial & warehousing, retail, hospitality etc. Looking ahead, the overall outlook for Indian real estate remains positive in the near-mid-term amidst sustained global as well as domestic investor confidence,” said Badal Yagnik, Chief Executive Officer, Colliers India.

Profitability and leverage ratios improve for most of the larger real estate players

Increasing appetite for real estate lending by financial institutions has primarily stemmed from the financial prudence displayed by the sector. In fact, the top 50 listed real estate companies have shown impressive improvements in terms of profitability, cash flow realization, and balance sheet performance over the last five years. One of the most significant trends is the improvement in profitability metrics – 62% of the top 50 listed real estate companies had higher profitability margins at the end of FY 2025 as compared to the 23% share in FY 2021. Consistent strong demand, higher revenue realization, and better operating efficiencies can be attributed to the increasing profitability of real estate companies.

Additionally, the debt-to-equity ratio, a critical indicator of financial discipline, has shown consistent improvement over the past five years. More than 60% of the leading real estate companies in India have comfortable debt levels, which is reflected in the debt-to-equity ratio of less than 0.5 in FY 2025. This is particularly noteworthy considering that 43% of the leading real estate companies were low-leverage companies in FY 2021. Financial prudence at the Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) level has in a way culminated into comfortable debt levels at the consolidated level. Moreover, it highlights a deliberate strategy amongst large developers to deleverage and enhance capital as well as operational efficiency.

Creditworthiness of the real estate sector reflected in a significantly higher number of rating upgrades

Most economic sectors in India have rebounded strongly post-pandemic. However, the pace and extent of recovery in the real estate sector has been comparatively more pronounced than in other industries. This is reiterated by a higher proportion of credit rating upgrades in Indian real estate in recent years. In fact, the real estate sector has outperformed the broader industry on credit quality metrics, with a leading Credit Rating Agency (CRA) reporting 23% of upgrades in its rated real estate portfolio versus a mere 1% of downgrades during the second half of FY 2025. The percentage of rating upgrades and downgrades across industries from the same CRA meanwhile stood at 14% and 6% respectively in the same period.

While the extremely high number of upgrades vis-à-vis downgrades in H2 of FY 2025 in Indian real estate may rationalize over the next few years, it is still expected to outperform most economic sectors, driven by its inherent fundamentals. Rising revenues, improving operating and profitability margins, and steady debt deleveraging underscore the adoption of more sustainable and disciplined financial practices in Indian real estate, reinforcing its position as one of the promising sectors across the corporate landscape.

Real estate companies increasingly access equity markets to fuel expansion

Real estate players are increasingly turning to public markets to raise capital, as reflected in the surge of Initial Public Offerings (IPO) in recent years. In 2024 alone, India witnessed close to 160 fresh public issuances across sectors, comfortably outpacing issuances in 2023. Remarkably, the real estate sector saw 9 IPOs in 2024, raising nearly INR 138 billion - almost double the amount raised in the previous year. Since 2021, 30 IPOs have collectively raised close to INR 400 billion into India’s real estate sector. Heightened activity in the equity markets has continued into 2025 as well. The year has already seen 92 IPOs, including 7 real estate IPOs till date. Interestingly, real estate IPOs are expanding into newer categories such as flex spaces, with leading operators scaling their portfolios across cities and fast-tracking their public listing plans. Moreover, the introduction of REIT and SM-REIT offerings is democratizing real estate ownership for the retail investor. In the near to mid-term, several real estate companies, including Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs), Small & Medium (SM)-REITs, hospitality players, residential developers, flex space operators etc. are lining up for their IPOs with the regulator.

A heartwarming tale of love and bonding - Watch Hi Papa Premiere This Tuesday on Zee Cinema!

This July, Zee Cinema presents the World Television Premiere of Hi Papa, a heartwarming tale of love, family, and second chances. Featuring the much-loved Natural Star Nani and the graceful Mrunal Thakur, this film promises to take viewers on an emotional journey that explores the struggles and triumphs of a father-daughter relationship. Don’t miss the premiere on Tuesday, 29th July at 12 pm, only on Zee Cinema.

Directed by debutant Shouryuv, Hi Papa takes you on a ride that beautifully captures the bond between a father and daughter, the ache of separation, and the power of love. Known for its heartwarming performances, the film was widely appreciated for the chemistry between Nani and Mrunal Thakur, both delivering standout portrayals. Kiara Khanna, playing the young Mahi, brought an innocence and heartfelt sincerity that resonates deeply with audiences. The music, composed by Hesham Abdul Wahab, adds an extra layer of emotion, perfectly complementing the film’s moving narrative.

Talking about the film, Nani, who plays the loving father, shared, “I think I was the first one to come on board for Hi Papa, and when I hear a script, I don’t listen to it as an actor — I experience it as an audience member first. When I heard this story, it truly moved me. It had been a long time since I came across a film that captured the beauty of love and the bond between a father and daughter in such a heartfelt way. I was craving to be a part of something like this. I’m really excited that audiences across India will now get to experience the warmth and emotion of Hi Papa on Zee Cinema.”

Mrunal Thakur who plays the character of Yashna, added, “The moment Shouryuv Garu narrated the script to me, I was completely drawn in. I’m very emotionally connected to the characters I choose and in my heart, I knew Yashna was someone only I could bring to life. Filming Hi Papa brought back so many memories from my own childhood, and it was an incredibly personal journey for me. I hope the audience feels the same love, warmth, and depth that I felt while making this film.”

Speaking about his debut, Director Shouryuv said, “Hi Papa may be a fictional story, but it’s deeply rooted in emotions and experiences that have shaped me. As a first-time director, I wanted to tell a story that’s heartfelt and universally relatable something every family, across any language could connect with. The love the film has received so far has been truly overwhelming. I’m now excited for audiences on Zee Cinema to experience the same warmth and emotion that went into creating Hi Papa.”

"Hi Papa" is a heart-tugging celebration of fatherhood, forgotten love and rediscovered bonds. It’s a reminder that even the deepest wounds can heal when love finds its way back home.

From Afterlife Chaos to Gender Conversations: 5 Reasons to Watch Fakt Purusho Maate on JOJO*

*Fakt Purusho Maate Premieres on JOJO: 5 Reasons This Gujarati Gem Breaks All the Rules*

What if your grandfather came back from the afterlife, not to bless your wedding—but to stop it? And what if the wisest voice in the story belonged to a talking crow? That’s the kind of wild, wonderful world Fakt Purusho Maate invites you into. After a successful theatrical run, this Gujarati fantasy-comedy is now making its world digital premiere on the JOJO App, a leading platform for premium Gujarati content. Rooted in culture, layered with emotion, and told with humour and heart, the film delivers more than meets the eye. Here are five surprising reasons why Fakt Purusho Maate is unlike anything you’ve seen before.

1. A Crow Is the Film’s Sutradhar and It Works Brilliantly
Ever heard life lessons from a crow? In Fakt Purusho Maate, Kaagesh the crow isn't just background noise. He is the film’s witty narrator. Voiced by Malhar Thakar, Kaagesh adds humour, sarcasm, and unexpected wisdom to every twist in the story. It is rare to see a bird character take on such a smart and sassy role, making it a refreshing narrative choice that instantly hooks you.

2. A Battle Between Two Generations But With Magic
It is not your regular saas-bahu or father-son drama. Here, a grandfather from the afterlife literally uses magical tricks to stop his grandson’s wedding. Instead of angry lectures and emotional blackmail, you get flying furniture, confused priests, and rituals gone hilariously wrong. It is absurd, chaotic, and surprisingly moving, all at once.

3. Amitabh Bachchan Plays a God-Like Guide With a Gujarati Twist
You have seen Amitabh Bachchan play powerful roles before. But here, his cameo brings calm to chaos in the most rooted and respectful way. Appearing as a divine force, he does not preach, but gently nudges the characters (and the audience) to think. His dialogues are short, but they stay with you long after the scene ends.

4. The Film Talks About Gender Equality Through Laughter, Not Lectures
One of the most beautiful surprises in the film is how it addresses patriarchy and gender bias without being heavy. The grandfather wants control, but life and a clever script keep reminding him that times have changed. The story makes you laugh at things we have accepted for years, and by the end, it nudges you to question them too.

5. It Is a Sequel That Is Not Trying to Repeat the First Hit
Unlike most sequels that rely on the success of their original, Fakt Purusho Maate stands on its own. While Fakt Mahilao Maate focused on understanding women, this one flips the lens to the male perspective. But not in a preachy or one-sided way. Instead, it pokes fun at men’s confusion, fears, and ego with grace, charm, and tons of laughter.

Fakt Purusho Maate is full of surprises. It gives you magical realism with Gujarati flavour, a talking crow with attitude, a superstar cameo with soul, and a heart that beats for change. Now streaming exclusively on the JOJO App, this one is not just worth watching. It is worth thinking about long after it ends.

Ananya Panday Champions Kindness in Classrooms Across India with New Social Emotional Curriculum Initiative*

Ananya Panday’s So Positive teams up with Slam Out Loud to launch Kindness Curriculum for children

Actress and youth icon Ananya Panday is taking her commitment to creating a more compassionate digital and real-world space a step further. Her initiative So Positive, in partnership with the inspiring NGO Slam Out Loud, has launched a powerful new Kindness Curriculum designed for schools across India.

Rooted in art-based learning, the Kindness Curriculum is a unique program that encourages children to understand and practice empathy, compassion, and kindness from an early age. Through storytelling, poetry, and visual arts, the curriculum turns emotional learning into an engaging and creative experience.

Ananya Panday steps into the unique role of guiding children through modules that blend her own personal journey with universally resonant lessons. By sharing her experiences and voice, she’s helping make kindness not just a value, but a life skill.

The curriculum will be distributed and practised in schools through Slam Out Loud’s Jijivisha Fellowship and Arts for All Program in cities across India. Over 2.5 lakh children will benefit from this curriculum through various programs. It’s also available on So Positive’s YouTube channel, making it accessible to parents and educators globally. The team is currently working towards making it available on the Government’s DIKSHA Portal as well.

Ananya said, “Kindness has always been at the heart of everything we do at So Positive. It’s something I deeply believe in—not just as an idea, but as a way of life. I truly feel that if we can instil kindness in kids from a young age, it becomes second nature to them as they grow up. That’s why the Kindness Curriculum is so close to my heart. With everything going on in the world, I feel an even stronger need to help build a generation that’s more empathetic, emotionally aware, and simply… kind.”

The initiative comes at a time when social-emotional learning is being recognized globally as an essential tool for the holistic development of children. In a world where children are growing up amidst complex emotional and digital challenges, the Kindness Curriculum offers a powerful foundation for raising a generation that leads with kindness.

Shobha Kapoor Honoured with Ramanand Sagar Lifetime Achievement Award, says, 'I had never thought that I will reach so far'

Shobha Kapoor’s name is synonymous with Indian television. A visionary, a powerhouse, and the silent architect behind some of the most iconic shows on Indian screens, she has shaped narratives that defined generations and connected deeply with millions of households. At the Indian Telly Awards 2025, this extraordinary contribution was honoured with the Editor’s Choice: Ramanand Sagar Lifetime Achievement Award, a tribute to her enduring impact on the industry.

For over two decades, Shobha Kapoor has been the driving force behind Indian television’s most defining moments. As Managing Director of Balaji Telefilms, she has masterfully balanced creativity and commerce, leading the creation of era-defining shows like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, Kasamh Se, Pavitra Rishta, Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, Naagin, and many more. With sharp business acumen, emotional insight, and a deep commitment to storytelling, she has helped shape the daily viewing habits of millions, building not just a content empire but a cultural legacy.

Reflecting on the recognition, Shobha Kapoor said, "Thank you so much, Indian Telly Awards, for honouring me with this Lifetime Achievement Award. Honestly speaking, I had never thought that I would reach so far. It was Ekta's dream to tell stories, and I, just being her mother, decided to support her because she was so young at that time. And slowly, slowly, her dream became my passion too — my strength too. Balaji Telefilms gave me my own identity. So, thanks to Ekta for reinventing my life as well.

She further added, "And a special thanks to my husband Jeetu and my son Tushar. If they had not encouraged me and supported me, I would have never achieved this. Thanks to all the channels who trusted us and gave us the freedom to express ourselves. And last but not the least, thanks to our audience — it’s all because of their love. Ye award sabse zyada unka hai. Jai Mata Di!"

This prestigious honour, named after the legendary Ramanand Sagar, celebrates individuals who have left a lasting imprint on Indian television, and few embody that spirit more profoundly than Shobha Kapoor. While this is a moment of reflection and recognition, her journey of storytelling continues.

IT-ITeS Sector Dominates India's Office Space Absorption, Flex Spaces Trail with 14% Share - Vestian

New Delhi, July 25, 2025: Flex spaces accounted for 14% of total absorption in Q2 2025, up from 9% in the previous quarter. The area absorbed by flex spaces increased by 68% over the previous quarter, reaching 2.63 Mn sq ft in Q2 2025. Moreover, the southern cities of Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad accounted for nearly 80% of the area absorbed by flex spaces across the top seven cities, underscoring the growing prominence of flex spaces in these cities.

Even though the share of flex spaces has increased significantly, IT-ITeS sector continued to dominate absorption with 9.4 Mn sq ft in Q2 2025. Nearly half of the absorption by IT-ITeS sector was concentrated in the localities of  Yeshwantpur (Bengaluru), Nanakramaguda (Hyderabad), and Airoli (Mumbai). The top seven cities recorded 36.75 Mn sq ft of absorption in H1 2025, registering 21% increase over the same period a year earlier. With this growth rate, we anticipate absorption to surpass 75 Mn sq ft by the end of 2025, potentially reaching the highest-ever absorption in any calendar year.

The second quarter of 2025 maintained its growth momentum amid global macroeconomic uncertainties and geopolitical frictions. As a result, absorption rose by 10% annually and 5% quarterly, reaching 18.79 Mn sq ft in Q2 2025. This could be attributed to the significant increase in real estate activities in the southern cities, with their share rising from 46% in Q1 2025 to 59% in Q2 2025.

Mr. Shrinivas Rao, CEO, Vestian, said, “India’s office market continued to grow in Q2 2025, largely driven by robust absorption in major cities like Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Mumbai. As more enterprises are transitioning back to in-office operations and several grade-A office projects are planned to be completed in the second half of 2025, the growth momentum is anticipated to continue with an increase in office utilisation ratio.”

Entrepreneur Nirvaan Birla Releases His Musical Debut with Soulful Track Shankaraa, a Tribute to Lord Shiva on Shravan

After much anticipation, Shankaraa, the debut single by entrepreneur Nirvaan Birla, is finally out, offering listeners a deeply soulful experience rooted in devotion, silence, and inner stillness. Written and sung by Nirvaan himself, with music composed by Kalyan Baruah, the track marks the beginning of his music album under his initiative 'Sounds for the Soul.'

More than just a song, Shankaraa is a heartfelt offering to Lord Shiva. It combines soothing melodies with deep emotion, inviting listeners to pause, reflect, and reconnect. The composition is simple yet powerful, making it a comforting companion for anyone seeking moments of peace, whether through prayer, meditation, or quiet listening.

In today’s fast-moving world, where the mind is often overwhelmed, Shankaraa reminds us of the healing power of sound. The track also touches upon the role of music in mental wellbeing, creating space for calm and emotional balance in everyday life.

*Talking about his musical debut, Nirvaan Birla shared,* “Music has always been my personal anchor, a quiet space I go to when things feel heavy. I’ve realised how deeply sound can impact mental wellbeing, especially when it’s honest and rooted in something higher. Shankaraa came from that space of stillness and surrender.

*He further added,* "It’s my ode to Lord Shiva, a way of expressing devotion, gratitude, and the peace I feel in His presence. It’s not just about Shiva; it’s also about finding a little more peace within ourselves. This is the first song I’m putting out into the world, and I’ve poured my heart into it. I truly hope it reaches the right ears and touches people in the way it touched me while creating it.”

As the sacred month of Shravan unfolds, Shankaraa serves as both a spiritual and emotional release. The full track is now available on all major streaming platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and JioSaavn.
