He was extremely strict in his principles and beliefs. He gave full freedom to all his children to aspire and chase their dreams. He had a considerable influence on Babasaheb’s life. His support and concern for him during all hardships was exceptional, and he was deeply committed to the betterment of his children. In his toughest times, Ramji stood like a pillar of strength beside his ambitious and visionary son. He always stood firm on his core values and teachings. Following his father’s guidance, Dr B. R Ambedkar began a historical journey of making a mark for himself in the world. We should thank the man behind this leader, who to nurtured his son into becoming the inspiring leaders of our times. Ramji was not just the support system of Babasaheb but also the backbone of the entire family and held everyone together.”

Kamna Pathak, Rajesh from &TV’s Happu Ki Ultan Paltan shares, “The relationship that Ramji and Babasaheb shared was very enriching, and some of his teachings have inspired me a lot. One such scene I vividly remember from the show, Ek Mahanayak – Dr B.R. Ambedkar is where young Ambedkar tells Ramji, that it is not that he does not understand his father, and he should not take it otherwise when he argues with him for Bala. To this, Ramji tells him that debating is healthy, and one must speak against injustice or anything they strongly believe. That taught me that one must fight for what is right no matter what. Settling for the wrong will not bring you the required satisfaction and inner peace. There should be a healthy debate separating the just from the unjust, truth from a lie. The debates might not always result in a win or a loss but help to build self-confidence and speak up for oneself .”

Aasif Sheikh, Vibhuti Narayan from &TV’s Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai says, “There is a beautiful and inspirational moment in the show between Bhimrao, and Ramji I can recall. Bhim refuses to go to school because he is being discriminated and made to sit outside the class. Ramji uses sunlight as an example to give him a different perspective. He tells him that education is like the heat of the sun. Whichever corner one stands in, it does not reduce the heat of the sun and the sunlight reaches everyone irrespective, similarly, sitting in front or back in the classroom does not affect one’s ability to grasp knowledge. What matters is how much one can grasp and understand.”

(1) Tofu Delight Crumbled Burger with homemade lettuce tartar sauce by Chef Pallavi Nigam Sahay

Ingredients for the burger: Burger buns 2, Tofu steak 2, Breadcrumbs 220 grams , Chopped dill 2tbsp, Salt to taste, Black pepper ¼ tsp , Oil 2-3 tbsp, Flour 2 tbsp, Water 1 tbsp, Butter 1tbsp.

For Yogurt Sauce: Hung curd 4tbsp, Grated garlic 1/8th tsp, Chopped fresh coriander 1tbsp, finely chopped mint 1tbsp, Chopped lettuce 2tbsp, Lemon juice 1tbsp.

Baked potato chips: Red potatoes 7-8, Cayenne pepper 1tbsp, Salt and pepper, Olive Oil.

Method 

(1) For the Tofu steak, scale-out half inch thick slices of tofu steak,

(2) Season the flour, mix it properly with water, and make smooth slurry,

(3) Now mix breadcrumbs with dill also add salt and black pepper,

(4) Switch on the pan, drizzle some oil on it. Dip tofu steak in flour slurry, and then coat it properly with breadcrumb,

(5) Heat pan, drizzle oil, gently place the tofu steak on the pan. Sear till golden,

(6) Spread butter on burgers bun and toast on a hot pan till edges turn golden,

(7) To make the yogurt sauce, mix all the ingredients together in a bowl,

(8) To assemble the burger, spread yogurt sauce on the lower bun and place the tofu patty, now again spread some yogurt sauce, and place the top bun. Your burger is ready,

(9) Let's start with baked potato chips; first, we need to preheat our oven at 250 degrees for minimum 10 minutes,

(10) Peel and Chop the potatoes in a way sort of like french fries,

(11) Balance them in the boiling water for 3-4 minutes, drain it, and then sprinkle salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper, mix it properly so that they get nicely coated with everything.

(12) In a roasting tray, drizzle 1tbsp of oil spread the potato nicely and bake for 30-40 minutes or till golden.

Ingredients: 150 gm grill chicken, 30 gm lettuce, salt/pepper - 05 gm, Cherry Tomato 10 gm, Olive Green/Black - 10 gm, Oilve Oil - 10 gm, Garlic - 5 gm, Thyme mixed - 5 gm, Penne pasta - 70 gm, cocktail sauce - 50 gm, chilli sauce, Mayonnaise sauce, Barbecue sauce, Tomato ketchup

PROCESS OF MAKING THE SALAD

1.      Preheat the grill for high heat. Season both sides of chicken breast halves with steak seasoning,

2.      Lightly oil the grill gate. Grill chicken for 6-8 minutes per side, or until juices run clear. Remove from heat, cool, and cut into strips,

3.      Meanwhile, place the penne pasta in a large pot of lightly salted boiling water. Cook for 8-10 minutes, until al dente. Drain and rinse with cold water to cool.

4.      In a large bowl, mix together the cheese, olive, lettuce, and cherry tomatoes. Toss with the cooled chicken and pasta to serve.

(3)   Chicken Cheesy Grilled Sandwich from Prasuma (The Pioneers of Deli Meats and cold cuts)

This healthy sandwich is great for breakfast, lunch and can be cut into smaller pieces for a snack.

Preparation and cooking time: 15-20 minutes

Ingredients: Smoked Chicken- 1 packet (200 gm), Cheddar Chesse- 2 slices, Lettuce, tomato, your choice of bread, butter

Process of making:

(1)   Apply butter on the slices of the bread along with some tomato sauce,

(2)   Slice the smoked chicken,

(3)   Layer the lettuce, tomato, smoked chicken and cheddar cheese between the buttered bread,

(4)   Grill in a sandwich press until golden and crisp
