Extraordinary hearts and minds will join #WeThePlanet’s Founder Kunal Sood in an online broadcast to commemorate Father’s Day 2020 to make the impossible possible and envision the next generation of exponential leadership and legacy.
18th June, New Delhi: #WeThePlanet will broadcast their third virtual summit online to honor extraordinary leaders and innovators on Father’s Day, Sunday, June 21, 2020, with Actor Sidharth Malhotra and Veteran Filmmaker Shekhar Kapur. The Livestream will be broadcast at 6:30 PM IST.
A person’s exponential legacy is the sum total of their actions over the course of a lifetime in the face of great challenges that leaves not just a better planet for future generations but better generations for the future of our planet. #WeThePlanet champions the stories of extraordinary citizens leading from a place of moral courage and transformational leadership in times of great change to make the impossible possible without fear or favor during this critical moment in time.
Keynote speakers for the day will include Bollywood actor Sidharth Malhotra, Academy Award-winning filmmaker Shekhar Kapur, Grammy Award-winning artist Jerry Wonda, X PRIZE executive chairman Peter Diamandis, AgeWave founder Ken Dychtwald, and Hands Around the World producer Jay Rosenzweig, among others.
Actor Sidharth Malhotra says, “The first example that a child sees is his father who becomes a mirror for the way we will develop as future leaders. Treating people with equality – especially treating women with kindness, equality and respect – is the first lesson. Fathers are more powerful than they think. Men have to lead by example for their sons and families – to become role-models for how we treat all women in society so that we can all thrive moving forward.”
World-renowned Entrepreneur Kunal Sood, Founder of WeThePlanet and X Fellows says, “Building an exponential legacy goes far beyond wealth creation. Men must transform from being just providers and protectors of the family to become guardians of the Earth. Drawing inspiration from the late John F Kennedy, great fathers must inspire a future for generations to ask not what the planet can do for us, but rather what we can do for the planet. Leading with courage, compassion and altruism will be vital in order for us to effectively transform our world for a better future in a post COVID-19 reality.”
