PET FED CULMINATES DAY 1 OF Delhi’s 6th EDITION

New Year Special Edition: Paw-fect Party with Furry Friends!

New Delhi, 28^th December 2019, Saturday: Pet Fed, India’s Biggest Pet Festival & Limca World Record Holder of ‘Biggest Dog Carnival’, presented by Cozo Pet concluded its first day of its New Year Special Edition in Delhi. The fluffy little friends adored their much deserved day-out as Pet Fed, kicked off its first day with all the enthusiasm on December 28th, 2019, Saturday at NSIC Grounds, Okhla.

The cutest weekend of the year started with the presence of 1535 pets (dog, cat, and iguana included) swanked of numerous activities like Building Biscuits, Fab Indie Award, Temptation Alley, Cosplay and International Cat Show in association with World Cat Federation. Day 2 will grant your furry family to participate in more of exciting activities like Pet Fashion Show, Pet’s Got Talent & Dog Musical. There will also be a special Police Dog Show in association with Delhi Police Crime Dog Squad by 12 police dogs & 22 other officer handlers, in the presence of ACP. The festival is also open to people who don’t have pets but simply wish to attend Pet Fed to be around thousands of pooches & get a good dose of puppy love.

Speaking on the occasion, Akshay Gupta, Founder, Pet Fed mentions, “I'm overwhelmed after receiving such a positive response from the people of Delhi. It’s heart-warming to see so much enthusiasm towards a good cause and seeing people come out even in such cold weather. The Play Area is a must drop by with your dogs for an Agility have-a-go, trampolines, ball pools, doggo slides and ring slides! There’s also a dedicated cat zone fool proof for the cats to climb, have fun & immerse in. The cat zone is organizing an international cat show in association with World Cat Federation on both the days with lots of cool perks in store for our feline friends. In addition there was a wealth of pet displays and completions held on the stage!

The adoption camp is the much loved spot for pet lovers who have been wanting to get home a bundle of joy but hadn’t found their furry partner yet. In short, there is something for everyone at the festival. So don’t miss out on it.

Highlights of the festival:

1. Dedicated Play Areas – There are dedicated play zones for Cats & Dogs with separate Agility Rings for dogs, as well as a special fully indoors Cat Zone along with a Kitty Play Pen for cats. This ensures a purr-fect fun time & aww-dorable moments for pets & their parents in the various swings, balls pools, slides & mazes curated for all our paw-some pet visitors
2. International Cat Show in association with World Cat Federation – With an exclusive association with the World Cat Federation that will hold elaborate Cat Shows on both days of the festival for cat parents & cats to participate in, show off their cattitude & if they win - be eligible to participate in cat shows across the world
3. Adoption Camps – With #AdoptDontShop being one of our major initiatives, we want to raise awareness around adoption being an ideal way to bring home a pet instead of buying, along with various NGOs including World For All, CUPA, PFA etc. 
4. Police Dog Show – A perfect demonstration by Delhi Police Crime Dog Squad by 12 dogs & 22 officer handlers, in the presence of the ACP of Delhi police. The demo will be of agility, narcotic detection, assault work and other police force activities
5. Fashion Show – This is a fun activity where the human and their pets dressed in amazing pet couture walk down the ramp in style
6. Retail Therapy & More – With over 150 brands from across India and abroad, pet owners will get to indulge in the best of products and services which they usually would not be aware of. There are also Food & Drinks available for humans where they can chill with their pets, eat, drink & celebrate!
7. Free Desi Ticket – To encourage more and more people to adopt our beloved Indies and give them a loving home, we extend a Free Entry to the parents of Indie/Desi Pets at the festival
