She added, “Shooting this song amidst the lockdown was a challenge but resulted in such great content. I would like to thank Tarsame Sir & the entire team for all the support and making it possible in this difficult time. I wish people connect to it as I do.”
Goldie Sohel who has sung and composed the song said, "So delighted to bring ‘Baat Nahi Karni’ to you. This song is very special to me. It taught me the elements of life. About Asees Kaur
From a largely non-musical family, Kaur’s exposer to music was the Gurbanis and Shabad that were performed in the local gurudwara. After being denied permission to learn at the gurudwara, as she was too young, Asees would rememorize the words and tunes while visiting it. Without having learned the basics, she would try to recreate them at home. Her debut performance was a Shabad recital which got her praise. Along the way, Asees learned the nuances of the art and is now one of India’s leading female voices. From the soulful 'Ve Maahi’ to a peppy club track ‘Makhna’, Asees has proven her singing prowess as a solo singer and also on duets.
About Goldie Sohel
