Hero Electric unveils "KEEP YOUR AIR AS CLEAN AS THIS" campaign

New Delhi, June 3, 2020: Sensing the admiration that everyone has these days about the clearer sky and cleaner air, Hero Electric, a market leader in the electric two wheelers today unveiled its "KEEP YOUR AIR AS CLEAN AS THIS" campaign coinciding with the world environment day. To accelerate the adoption of its zero polluting electric bikes the company has also announced attractive online scheme where-in every 50th customer will get whatever he has booked absolutely free (T&C apply) and every other online customer a cash discount of INR 3000 on the bikes. The online booking scheme will run between June 1st to June 20th and will be applicable on all models except Flash lead acid, Glyde and Velocity. Additionally, all online buyers who purchase Hero Electric EVs will automatically become eligible for a lucky draw for 10 electric push scooters – Glyde – as a complimentary gift.
The booking amount is fixed at INR 2,999, irrespective of the model. Since a substantial part of Hero Electric’s sale comes from referrals, the customers will be offered a token of appreciation in the form of INR 1,000 voucher for referral sales. The current portfolio of Electric scooters from Hero Electric includes Flash, Nyx, Optima, Photon, Flash, Dash, and the ER (Extended Range) variants which are also powered by high quality lithium-ion batteries.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Sohinder Gill, CEO, Hero Electric said, “The lockdown during the Covid crisis has clearly established how absence of fossil fuel vehicles can lead to a clear blue skys and how we can all breathe much cleaner air by switching to electric vehicles. During our virtual town-hall, I was elated to hear from hundreds of the recent customers about environment as one of the reason of buying our electric bikes and that led us to this thought of celebrating "KEEP YOUR CITY AS CLEAN AS THIS" in the month of June. What better occasion than to roll out more attractive offers than the World Environment Day around the corner. This day holds a great emotional value for everyone at Hero Electric as we are passionate about –‘Our Mission - No Emission’. I am happy to see people getting more aware and environment conscious. This attitude will certainly help emission free mobility adoption rate in the country. We have also introduced contact less delivery options to tackle the pandemic related complexities and are overhauling our service and repair program that ensures minimum human interaction to ensure the health and safety of our workers and customers.”
Hero Electric has already started re-opening its dealership outlets in green zones and select orange zones as per the government directives across cities earlier this week. The brand now has re-opened around 300 dealerships functioning at pre-COVID levels keeping in line with the safety & hygiene protocols. The dealers have implemented all the measures to sanitize the showrooms and the bikes regularly and thoroughly. Hero Electric is taking abundant precautions for the health and safety of customers who want to visit the showrooms to pick-up their e-bikes themselves.  Many dealers have also started at-home delivery to allow flexibility and add another level of safety measure. All dealers are instructed to deep-sanitize the products before delivery – at home and at the dealership.
