Now enjoy Hungama Play’s premium library on Toshiba 4K Smart TVs

India, 22nd September 2020: Consumers can now enjoy the video library of Hungama Play, a leading video on demand platform owned by Hungama Digital Media, on Toshiba 4K Smart TVs. The Hungama Play app now comes pre-installed on all Toshiba 4K Smart TVs, in India and around the world. This gives users access to over 5000 films in English, Hindi and regional languages, original shows, more than 1500 short movies, 7500+ hours of kids and television content in multiple languages, and over 150,000 short-format videos across various categories like music, film gossip, humor, spiritual, etc.

Designed in Japan and Made in India, Toshiba’s 4K smart televisions are equipped with Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, VIDAA operating system, and a premium design to offer users an exceptional TV viewing experience. The recently launched range includes 7 different television models ranging from INR 12,990 to INR 66,990. The L50 series comes in a 43-inch variant, which comes in Full HD Resolution while the 32-inch comes in HD Resolution. U50 is the UHD series that offers a real, life-like picture quality and is available in 43-inch, 50-inch and 55-inch screen variants. U79 is the premium UHD series and is available in 55-inch and 65-inch variants. Both, U50 and U79 offer 4K Resolution+ technology, along with a host of other features, that converts normal FHD content into Ultra HD 4K quality, allowing viewers to watch 4K-like quality from their set-top boxes. Toshiba 4K Smart TVs can be purchased on Amazon, Flipkart, Reliance Digital and Tata Cliq.

Through a deal between Vidaa USA, makers of the open Vidaa Smart TV operating system (OS), and Hungama Digital Media Entertainment, Hungama Play, is now the strategic streaming partner for VIDAA OS. In late March, VIDAA has started the global rollout of its completely new and revamped user interface named 4.0. While the new U4 supports a more natural way for people to interact with their large screen, focusing on content and services rather than applications and technology.
