Student Baggage Allowance - Update 280920

We are pleased to extend our Student baggage scheme. Students travelling on Emirates flights in business and economy class class are entitled for the extra baggage allowance as per below terms and conditions.

• Valid for Ticketing      : Until 31 March 2021
• Valid for Travel           : As per base fare rule
• Cabin*                        : Business & Economy Class-excluding V/X/H/G
• Offer is applicable on  :Outbound Only.
• Online destinations Ex-India : Europe, USA, Toronto, Australia and Auckland, NZ

All other terms and conditions as below :  

Allowance	Additional 1 piece not more than 23 Kilos in Economy and 32 Kilos in Business Class for Students travelling Ex India to: USA , Toronto Additional 10 Kilos Baggage allowance for Students travelling Ex India to all online points in Europe,  Australia and Auckland, NZ
	Ticket must reflect the total allowance in the baggage allowance box. Failure to adhere to the same will result in normal baggage allowance.
Fare	All tickets must be issued at EK fares as published in GDS One-way/return fares ending *IN1.
Ticketing Fare basis	*IN1/STU2 Valid on EK operated flights only and will not apply to codeshare or Interline flights operated by partner carriers.
Endorsement	ZZSTU2ZZ in the tour code box of the ticket respectively.   The additional baggage allowance to be entered as an SSR item in the PNR.(1PC additional allowed)
Eligibility:	Bonafide students from the age group of 17 years -37 years. Supporting Documentation to be produced at the time of ticketing: Documents for travel to Europe or Australia/New Zealand Student visa and passport copy. Documents for travel to USA Student visa/ I20 form and passport copy Passengers holding STU exchange /internship//short term programmes etc are not eligible Foreign Nationals /Customers holding Overseas Citizen of India card (OCI) (not Indian Nationals) wanting to avail of student baggage allowance are eligible, also Countries that issue a resident visa instead of a student visa are eligible for student offer if they are able to provide the below: Proof of college admission or college id (not email confirmation or offer letters). Admission letter should be on the university letter head. Proof of fees paid /ID etc. If the above documents are not produced by agent when randomly requested or by passenger at check-in ,agent will be debited Tickets issued/sold and originating in India only.
Channel Distribution	Valid on all GDS’s (1A/1P/1S/1G/1B )  & Online bookings.

Note the additional baggage allowance for students will be permitted on EK ONLINE POINTS on all US INTERLINE FARES used.

E.g. BOM EK DXB EK BOS B6 RDU

3PC will be permitted upto BOS

Passenger will be required to bear all additional cost for baggage on interlining carrier.

The above baggage allowance will need to be amended manually to read 3pc for USA online point.
