Mumbai, 27th January 2021: Ryanite Licypriya Kangujam, a world-renowned child environmental activist has been catching eyeballs recently for all the right reasons. Often compared to Greta Thunberg, the 9-year old was recently invited to Mumbai to be a part of a special water conservation initiative. Licypriya, one of the world’s youngest environmental activists, interacted with leading Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, wherein they candidly discussed innovative solutions on water conservation and efforts and measures that can enable better water hygiene conditions in India.
The event also witnessed spectacular performances by renowned artists Mallika Sarabhai, Esha Deol, Indian Ocean band and others.
Ryanite Licypriya shared her vision about this noble mission and was also felicitated at the event. She was also recently awarded the National Youth Day Award 2021 and TN Khoshoo Memorial Award 2020 in recognition of her fight against climate change. The young and dynamic environment influencer is an inspiration to millions of children across the globe.
