Cedit Noam Chen On November 21, 2023, the dedication of two Torah scrolls took place at the Western Wall for the success of the people of Israel, for the elevation of the souls of the fallen, for the well-being of the soldiers and for the quick return of the kidnapped. This event, was broadcasted live, took place between 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Spanish peninsular time, in the presence of rabbis and public figures, families of fallen soldiers, families of kidnapped people, and families evacuated from the south and north. During the holy and exemplary ceremony, when the gates of heaven are opened, prayers were offered for the well-being of the soldiers and a special prayer for the quick return of the kidnapped. With the dedication of the Torah scrolls, there was also a ceremony of the first letters written for dozens of additional Torah scrolls to be presented in various synagogue communities. The first Torah scroll will be completed at the Western Wall and dedicated today, Wednesday, November 22, 2023, to the community of Kerem Shalom in the vicinity of Gaza Today more than ever, Shalom!
