hBits Appoints Ex SBI Securities' Zahid Gawandi as Director – Brand & Marketing


Mumbai, January 16, 2025hBits,  India’s premier platform for investing in commercial real estate, has appointed Zahid Gawandi as its Director – Brand & Marketing. With over two decades of experience in crafting and executing innovative marketing strategies, Zahid is set to lead hBits’ brand transformation and market expansion, bolstered by the company’s recent ₹40 crore fundraise.

Zahid brings a wealth of expertise from his leadership roles across Fintech, BFSI, FMCG, Consumer Durables, and Automobiles sectors. Having worked with global advertising powerhouses Dentsu and Hakuhodo, he has honed a deep understanding of international marketing practices. Most recently, as Vice President and Head of Marketing & Corporate Communications at SBI Securities Ltd, Zahid spearheaded a comprehensive rebranding initiative. His portfolio includes launching and scaling iconic brands such as Reliance Money and executing growth-focused strategies for GMoney, Spice Group, and Destimoney Group.

Beyond his corporate achievements, Zahid is a sought-after speaker and guest faculty at leading business schools, where he shares insights on brand strategy and digital marketing. He is also a respected jury member for prestigious marketing awards, reflecting his reputation as a thought leader in the marketing field.

An avid marathoner and fitness enthusiast, Zahid participates in international marathons. His dedication to fitness reflects his leadership style—focused, disciplined, and committed to excellence.
