Mumbai/ Gurugram, 9th February 2025: The thriving metropolis of Gurugram came alive with rhythm, color, and creativity as it hosted the inaugural Gurugram Festival, an arts and cultural extravaganza that brought together the best creative performers from the fields of music, dance, visual arts, and culture. Held on February 8th and 9th at the Epicentre, Apparel House, the festival provided a platform for cultural exchange and encouraged dialogue among artists and audiences.
Acclaimed artists such as Sarod Maestro Pandit Partho Sarothy, trained under Ustad Dhyanesh Khan and the legendary Pandit Ravi Shankar, Pandit Uday Bhawalkar, one of the foremost Dhrupad vocalists, sitar virtuoso Samanwaya Sarkar, vocalist Debapriya Adhikari, and Kathak exponent Guru Sandip Mallick headlined this captivating soirée with their accomplished and mesmerizing performances. Accompanying these artists were Pandit Vinod Lele, Debjit Putitundi, and Madhurjya Barthakur on tabla.
