On 13th December 2019, India Art Fair Director, JagdipJagpal,
hosted an evening of cocktails at Soho
House Mumbai to announce the programme for the upcoming fair.
Recognised internationally as South
Asia’s leading platform for modern and contemporary art, the fair will take
place at NSIC Grounds in New Delhi from 30th January - 2nd February 2020 in
partnership with BMW Group India. Returning for the twelfth year running, the
fair will present over 75 exhibitors spanning 20 different global cities,
alongside an expanded programme of live performances and events, an extended
bookshop, and a diverse talks platform positioning the artists at its core.
Well-known figures of India’s art scene
attended the event, hosted to coincide with the opening of Galerie Isa's new
space with an exhibition by top
contemporary artists Idris Khan and Annie Morris, who
were special guests. Gallerist Ashwin Thadani was also present,
along with collectors
Erica Born and Nitya Arora, artists Sameer and Zee Kulavoorto celebrate the diversity of talent in
the region and kick-off the cultural season in the lead up to the fair.
