Mumbai, December 09, 2019: GVK Mumbai International Airport Limited (MIAL) managing Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) opens additional boarding gates at Terminal 1 of Domestic Airport. The Terminal will witness operations of 8 additional boarding gates in order to ease passenger travel. This step taken by Mumbai International Airport Limited will help provide convenience to passengers travelling via the Terminal, thereby benefitting both the airlines as well as the passengers.
With the recent move of unification of operations at Terminal 1 and 2 for domestic flights, which saw transformation of IndiGo, GoAir and Air Asia operating out of Terminal 1, there has been an increase in passenger traffic in the last few months.
