Popular titles
Himalayan Gold Rush

At an altitude of 5000 meters in the Himalayas is found Yarsagumba, a caterpillar-fungus that is worth more than its weight in gold. Thousands of Nepalese villagers trek up the mountains every spring, braving difficult temperatures and terrain, in search of this hard-to-find but invaluable commodity. Its trade in Hong Kong and China, where it is considered a medicinal mushroom and elixir of youth, amounts to billions of Euros every year. Watch the journey of this extraordinary creature from mountainsides to pharmacy windows, and the people who hunt it down.

Red Light Green Light

Prevention, prosecution, and protection are the ‘three P's’ for fighting sex trafficking, but governments around the world have mostly concentrated on prosecuting traffickers and providing aftercare to victims. But what lies at the root of it? Filmmakers Jared and Michelle Brock travel to countries like Holland, USA, Austria, Sweden, and Switzerland to understand what social factors contribute most to the victimization and exploitation of women. Is legalizing prostitution a realistic solution or will that only give rise to an increased demand for paid sex which would, in turn, lead to more rampant trafficking?

Trump Russia

Soon after Donald Trump was elected the 45th President of the United States of America, it was reported that Russia had a major role to play in his victory. Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin formed a mutual admiration society of sorts as they praised each other in interviews. Was this friendship orchestrated for Russia-friendly policies in the United States so Trump could expand his businesses in Moscow? Watch Australian journalist Sarah Ferguson question Trump’s aides and US authorities to get their take on this popular conspiracy theory.

Zoo Lovers

The confines of the Paris Zoo offer visuals of most exotic animals enjoying intimate adventures and prove the French philosopher Blaise Pascal’s quote true, “The heart has its reasons that reason knows nothing of.'' Documenting the mating rituals, the film also showcases the dynamics of rivalry, parenting, and friendships in the zoo.

As he served Queen Elizabeth and Princess Diana, he addresses the stark contrast between their personalities, claiming that Diana’s rebellion made it easier for future princesses. Uncover the lesser-known aspects of the icon’s life through a first-person account of a man she trusted the most.

The People's Girls

For most men in Egypt, if a girl wears tight or skin-revealing clothes, she makes herself desirable and deserves to be stared at. Not all the blame can be put on the men as their own mothers often share the same belief. Two students from the American University of Cairo document the ordeal women face simply walking down the streets, even in broad daylight. Filled with interviews and social experiments, ‘The People's Girls’ highlights how Egypt is getting more regressive by the day with hardly any measures taken to keep its women safe.
