- 3100 Service Advisors & 577 Customer Care Managers from Hyundai dealerships participated across India
- HMIL will enhance skills of Top 6 winners over a year and send Top 2 Advisors to represent HMIL in Global Customer Experience Skill Championship’20 to be held in Seoul, South Korea
- The winners were awarded with a cash prize of Rs. 1 lakh each along with Winners Trophy
Mumbai, December 09, 2019: Hyundai Motor India Ltd, India’s first smart mobility solutions provider and largest exporter since inception recently conducted their 6th Service Advisor & 3rd Customer Care Manager National Skill Championship at the state of the Art, Hyundai Central Training Center at Faridabad.
The inter-dealership competition identifies skill and honors the best talents amongst dealer service advisors and customer care managers nationwide. This year over 1,300 service workshops and over 3,000 service advisors along with 577 customer care managers participated in this skill championship. The contest kicked-off on 28thMay, 2019 at Hyundai dealerships across India, followed by state level competitions in June and zonal level competitions in July.
Speaking on the occasion Mr. Punnaivanam, VP & National Service Head of Hyundai Motor India said, “Hyundai’s Annual National Skill Championship is aimed at honoring, encouraging and elevating the most deserved personnel in the Hyundai Service Family. The skill enhancement program endeavors to upgrade the skills of service advisors and customer care managers to enhance proficiency and make them future-ready and meet customer expectations for a Happy Life.”
Out of the total participants, 15 Service Advisors & 10 Customer Care Managers qualified for the finale of the Hyundai National Skill Championships held at Faridabad. The participants were tested for their ability to delight customer in a simulated role-play to meet ever increasing customer expectations and Hyundai standards. The skill fest also evaluated the participant’s adaptability to the concept of digital service i.e workshop automation. The contest also consisted of multiple rounds of role-plays, interviews and written tests. In this edition of National Skill Championships, HMIL added another feather in their cap with 1st ever digital edition - It was paperless from written assessment to role-play evaluation through various Hyundai mobile apps.
Currently, Hyundai is developing & nurturing skills of 7650 Technicians, 3293 Service Advisors & 4534 Customer care Team PAN India on continuous basis.
