Mumbai, 13 December 2019: GVK Mumbai International Airport Limited announced the complete rechristening of its website and social media handles after the change of its name from Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (CSIA) to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA). Accordingly, the website address now reads as www.csmia.aero . GVK MIAL has also renamed all its social media handles to CSMIAOfficial for Facebook and CSMIA_Official for Twitter and Instagram.
The name change of the Mumbai airport was announced by former Union Civil Aviation Minister Suresh Prabhu last year. Adhering to the proposal by Civil Aviation Minister and the sentiments of the people of Maharashtra, all social media handles and the company website has been rechristened as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport.
GVK MIAL will continue to provide smooth access to the website and update the passengers on a timely basis through its social media handles.
