AAYNA Clinic’s Khan Market Branch to open from June 20; strict safety and hygiene protocols in place for clients and staff

New Delhi: June 2020: AAYNA Clinic, India’s leading cosmetic dermatology, weight loss and wellness clinic founded by Dr. Simal Soin, will reopen its Khan Market, Delhi, branch from June 20, 2020. The clinic’s Mehrauli Centre has been operational since a month ago when, as part of Lockdown 4.0, the government allowed salons and aesthetic clinics like AAYNA Clinic to restart their business after putting in place the strictest of hygiene protocols and safety measures.

At AAYNA Clinic Dr Soin has installed MERV 13 air filters and Ultraviolet Germicidal Irradiation (UVGI) technology in the central AC unit that thoroughly decontaminate indoor air by killing over 90 per cent of airborne viruses and infections. Fumigation of the entire clinic is done every two days. All surfaces are disinfected every two hours in common areas and every treatment room is sanitized after each treatment.

“Right through the lockdown period, we were training our staff online so that this process of sanitation and disinfection comes as second nature to them. My staff has been trained on how to use their equipment, masks, gloves, disposals and also how social distancing is to be followed strictly with clients and also with each other. We have ensured that all PPE gear is changed by therapists and doctors after every procedure instead of wearing one set the whole day. Disposable PPE gear is also offered to all our clients who visit the clinic. After successfully implementing all of the above at our Mehrauli branch, we are now ready for our clients at Khan market,” said Dr. Soin, founder, AAYNA clinic.

All employees at AAYNA Clinic have their temperatures checked each day when reporting for work. Dr. Soin has ensured that her staff use only personal transport. All clients are checked for fever before they are taken in for their appointment. No external contacts or vendors are allowed into the clinic. All appointments are given in a staggered manner to ensure limited contact with other clients. Before physically visiting the clinic for their appointment all clients must fill a self-declaration form online for COVID screening.
