10 Minutes of Happiness with Filmfare is back again this week with another riveting episode. The show, over the past few weeks, has earned a special place in the hearts of cinephiles as it aims to spread happiness and positivity in these testing times. The guest this week is none other than the beautiful Rakul Preet Singh. On the occasion of World Yoga Day, the actor, known to be a fitness freak, talks about her enthusiasm for yoga with Filmfare Digital Editor Rahul Gangwani.
Rakul reveals, “I was never a yoga person. I’ve always been into health, sports and fitness. Yoga came into my life two years back. Being an adrenaline junkie, I used to think that yoga is so boring. Initially, I believed yoga is for older people. But I was wrong. Yoga rejuvenates every cell of your body. It changed my life for the better. You just need the right teacher and way of doing it. Yoga starts my day in a positive way. I haven’t missed my practice even for a single day during the lockdown.”
When asked who she’d like to teach yoga to, she quipped, “I’d like to teach yoga to Varun Dhawan and Ranveer Singh because they have so much energy.”
Celebrating Father’s Day as well, Rakul Preet's doting father appeared on the episode and spoke with pride about his daughter. He spoke about sincerity being one of her strongest virtues since she was a kid. He also revealed about how after ‘Yaariyan’ this is the first time Rakul has spent more than two days with the family.
