As a part of all the exciting new content that Zee TV
is offering its viewers during this festive month, the
channel recently introduced a fiction show- Apna Time BhiAayega. The show
follows the inspiring narrative of Rani, a young daughter of a head staff
in an affluent family of Jaipur, who refuses to be tied down by her humble
roots. The show will see her breaking free from the shackles of her background
as she chooses to carve her own destiny and reach out for her ambitious goals.
The family
drama debunks the deep-rooted class system and questions its unwritten rulebook
of ‘aukaat’ in our society, which almost curtails the chances of the lower
strata in taking charge of their destiny and rising above their means.
Apna Time BhiAayega has been keeping its viewers entertained with several unpredictable twists and turns as Rani strives to make it big in life only to be once again made to realize her ‘aukaat' in society by Maharani Rajeshwari (Tannaz Irani). While actor Anushka Sen was originally signed on to play the character of Rani, the actress was unwell and thus, had to opt out from the show.While for some, change may take time or might be uncomfortable to deal with, actor Fahmaan Khan faced no such inhibitions with Megha Ray stepping into the character of Rani as the lead.
The two hit off almost instantaneously is what Fahmaan
Khan fondly recalls. Although
this will be the first project that Fahmaan and Megha will be seen together in
the lead roles, the chemistry between the two was completely on point which was
not just a relief for the makers but also for the audience who have seemed to
love the onscreen pairing.
Talking about his experience of being paired with Megha,
Fahmaan shared “Megha and I clicked almost immediately just
after maybe two-three days of shooting together. She is a gem of a person and
also a wonderful actor, I have watched her on screen and I’m glad that she has
become the new part of Apna Time BhiAayega. For me the most impressive part
about her was that although this was a sudden switch, she worked flawlessly
even under immense pressure leaving no glimpse of stress or fear on her face.
We have a lot of fun on sets, and because we have some really cute scenes
together we tend to crack up between dialogues which ends up with fits of
laughter and we trying to maintain poise (laughs). Hoping the audience too will
love the show as much as we are enjoying working on it.
With the ongoing wedding track
going on the show, there is a lot of drama that is going to happen in the
upcoming days. Who will Veer finally get married to? Will Rani be able to get
justice for her father?
