New Age actress Shivangi Khedkar is known to be a rising star in the entertainment industry ever since her promising debut in the Tollywood industry. With each passing day, it only gets better as she is now all set to mark her Hindi television debut with Star Plus’ upcoming show ‘Mehndi Hai Rachne Waali’.
Shivangi will soon be seen essaying the role of Pallavi Deshmukh in the show. Pallavi is a dedicated daughter-in-law to her in-laws who ends up caught between the thought of taking second chances in life. Focused on bringing her character alive, Shivangi dedicates her time towards shaping her character by working on the language and much more.
While prepping for the character, Shivangi explains how she prepared for the role, “Pallavi Deshmukh as a character is different in its own way and it had various requirements. To fit into the skin of the character, I had to brush up on my language as this is my Hindi debut. I believe in bringing out the right amount of emotion required organically for each sequence. To show the simplicity in the character was my first and foremost priority. It is really was very challenging to show and portray simplicity on screen and that’s what every artist searches for. Challenges that would result in creating something spectacular. That process is really unique and hence I agreed to play this role. I also ensured to keep myself fit and well-groomed much before I began shooting for the show as it plays a vital role in on-screen presence. Here’s hoping hard work pays off once again and viewers continue to support us as they do.”
