World Environment day is celebrated on 5th June every year. The theme of this year is “Ecosystem Restoration”. Due to the pandemic it has been affected badly which needs to be restored. We are taking a lot of precautions these days. We have to use masks, gloves, head masks etc. So it is also very necessary to dispose of them properly. Dr. Gunita, founder of Dentem Dental & Orthodontic Clinic shared her views on how we can dispose of the precautionary kit properly so it will not harm the environment. Mask and gloves we can clean it, sanitize it wrap it in paper bag and try to dispose it in a biohazard dustbin or authorized waste collectors of the government, She said they get 300 PPE’s in the month they use it and put them in a packet and keep aside for 15 days let the virus die its own natural way and then donated to mortuary and cremation grounds.
