Zindagi || I love working with Haseeb, as a director he trusts his actors: Ahad Raza Mir

~ Ahad Raza Mir talks about his journey in Zindagi’s third original Dhoop Ki Dewaar ~

DATE, Mumbai: Creating a lot of buzz and leaving the audiences wanting for more, the first two episodes of Zindagi’s third original ‘Dhoop Ki Deewar’ streamed on 25th June 2021. The Canadian-Pakistani actor, Ahad Raza Mir who is seen playing the character of Vishal got candid about his journey with director Haseeb Hasan and spoke about how Haseeb trusts his actors and allows them to make the character their own.

“It’s my second time working with Haseeb and the thing I really appreciate about him as a director is that he trusts his actors to make decisions, he trusts them with the character. At least he trusted me and gave me room to do what I felt was needed.”

Ahad also shared how he loves working with Haseeb and hopes to do more projects with him again. “Working with him felt good because he brings you back when he needs to and pushes you to do better when he thinks it’s necessary. But most of the time, he leaves it up to you to make those conscious decisions about the characters. He is mostly guiding everyone when in doubt and holds everyone together as one unit on the set. So, it’s always really nice to work with him and I hope I can do so again soon.”

Produced by Motion Content Group and Hamdan Films, written by Umera Ahmed, and directed by Haseeb Hasan, Dhoop Ki Deewar is a tale of family and loss with real-life couple Sajal Aly and Ahad Raza Mir in the lead.
