World Bartender' Day | Maka Zai and Local Ferment Co


MAKA ZAI

A curated experience for the Bartending Community by Maka Zai Rum. The idea is to nurture the small yet tight bartending community by curating an engaging day long experience with them.

The theme for this Event is Tiki! Tiki Bars & Tiki Rum Cocktails. The attendees will travel from north goa on to the other side of town, because it is never the destination - always the journey. We have planned interesting stopovers on the journey where the attendees will be expected to solve riddles/puzzles and collect their Tiki Tokens. On reaching our venue (that's a SURPRISE!) we welcome our attendees with gifts, drinks and hot towels before a short and engaging session with our Brand Ambassador Abhirup Bhattacharya.

Each team is tasked with making a Classic Tiki Cocktail and one Signature Tiki Cocktail!

 LOCAL FERMENT CO.

Local Ferment Co will be collaborating with Bira 91Taproom in Bangalore to make beer cocktails.

  1. They will be co-hosting a Make-Your-Own-Shandy station with Local Ferment Co shrubs and Bira beer.
  2. This will be followed by a Bar Takeover with Magandeep Singh, where they will co-create some special cocktails for the evening with Local Ferment Co. along with Irfan Bira’s in-house mixologist.
