World No Tobacco Day is observed around the world every year on 31st May to spread awareness of the dangers and deadly effects of using tobacco. Along the same lines, The Trost, through its campaign, aims to urge people to opt for 100 percent tobacco and nicotine-free hemp rollens with the goal of bringing down the addiction rates. The theme of World Environment Day is “Only One Earth” and the focus on living sustainably in harmony with nature.
In its video campaign, the brand has showcased light on the deep-seated problems associated with smoking tobacco cigarettes, such as hardening of blood vessels, reduction in the blood flow, and increased risk of cardiovascular diseases, whilst also offering a sustainable solution. #MakeTheSwitch
The fact that people are primarily aware of the ill effects of tobacco and other addictive materials but possess less information on the availability of tobacco-free hemp cigarettes and the benefits they offer prompted The Trost to launch #MakeTheSwitch. The brand, through all its campaigns and initiatives, has raised awareness of the need for replacing tobacco-based cigarettes with hemp cigarettes and following the principles of ‘Dhuma Yoga’ – an Ayurvedic formulation that combines five herbs including cannabis. These herbs are burnt and the smoke is inhaled by the user through their noses and mouths. The Trosts’ hemp-based cigarettes are known to offer several health benefits, while also giving the equalized pleasure of smoking.
