Madras Tiffin Room, a fun South Indian cafe by Savya Rasa, launched its beautiful space in the heart of Koregaon Park with an intimate lunch gathering on 28th May hosted by Minoti Makim.
Located on the verandah behind Savya Rasa, guests loved the airy and pretty spot with yellow and grey interiors along with beautiful murals.
Everyone enjoyed a range of immersive and soulful South Indian dishes such fluffy idlis- Thatte Idly, Ghee Podi Idly, Millet Idly, tiffin sets such as Mushroom Dosai, Millet Dosai, Benne dosai, Paneer Dosai where you choose between a spicy Tanjore Sambar or the sweet tangy Udipi Sambar, flavourful uthappams- Onion Uthappam, Garlic Uthappam, freshly tossed sides such as Malabar Roast with Paneer/ Potato/Egg/ different kinds of meat and mains such as Kothu Parotta, Madurai Kadamba Kuruma, all with an option of idly, kal dosai or parotta and a serving of kesari bhaat.
Some of the beverages served were the Paneer Soda, Butter Milk, Sol Kadhi, Iced Filter Coffee, and Chilled Pineapple Rasam along with a few refreshing cocktails.
This ‘Fun South Indian Kitchen’ sure lives up to its name with delicious pocket-friendly, quick meals.
