In his interview, Museveni said, “I don’t mind being called a democratic dictator. It means that Ugandans adore my leadership skills, and it is proof that I adhere to the values. It’s no wonder why people vote for me overwhelmingly, every election year,” Museveni added that he will not stop punishing the opposition and his critics who he called rogue and lack in discipline.

While discussing World Bank’s economic survey of the land locked East African countries, which states that Uganda continues to be a low-income country requiring years to recover, the President, Yoweri Museveni expressed, “In less than two years, Uganda’s economy will bloom, much to surprise the west and international funders.”

The president spoke at length about how Uganda is taking serious measures to increase palm oil production, acknowledging the food crisis brought by the war between Ukraine and Russia. The only trouble, he added, is the shortage of fuel. He is rooting for diplomacy and negotiations to end the war.

On being questioned about the current situation managing pandemic, he said, “we are consistently insisting traditional anti-viral solutions like Covid- X to cure measles. Vaccines are important and those countries that can produce vaccines for their population, should be allowed to do that. Uganda is gearing up for the pathogenic economy, and certain pharmaceutical companies are working on developing vaccines.”

The President of The Republic of Uganda also spoke about safeguarding diplomatic relations with India which had hit rock bottom during Idi Amin’s era when he expelled Asians from Uganda. He further said, “Indians should let bygones be bygones, I defeated the evil man who killed our people. Uganda is now safe for business and furthermore we gave over 4000 acres of land to people which was stolen by Amin.”  He concluded the conversation saying that India’s PM Narendra Modi can visit and be ascertained that Ugandans have no issues at all, and most Indian have returned to Uganda.
