Sony AATH premieres its latest original show Gultemama

Sony AATH, one of the most loved Bengali general entertainment channels, today announced its latest original series titled ‘Gultemama’. Narrating the story of a Bengali hamlet Galadpur & it’s people, this family comedy show revolves around the character of Gultemama who spends his entire day gossiping with his friends. He is someone who often finds himself at the receiving end of his own tricks.

Depicting the popular ‘adda’ culture of the villages, Gultemama aims to connect viewers to the everyday life of Bengal. The protagonist is a 40-year-old unemployed man. He takes his ‘Adda’ very seriously and believes that this is an art that requires some serious discipline. Despite being out of job, Gultemama is quite content with his life. The show promises to amp up the entertainment quotient by taking people on a joy ride of fun and laughter.
