The Internet gives its stamp of approval to Varun Mitra’s ‘Rakshak - India’s Braves’ trailer
The trailer of ‘Rakshak - India’s Braves’ starring Varun Mitra finally hit the Internet today giving a sneak peek of the action-packed performance by the actor. The film’s plot is based on the horrifying 2004 terrorist attack on the Jammu railway station. Varun Mitra essays the role of Late Army Officer and Ashoka Chakra Awardee Triveni Singh who killed the militants before laying down his own life.
Speaking of the two-minute-long trailer, ‘Rakshak - India’s Braves’ looks like a promising military drama with an important story of heroism that needs to be told. Acing his act as an Army Officer, Varun Mitra keeps you glued to the screen and steals the show as the real-life hero in this Amazon mini-film trailer.
Sharing his thoughts on the ‘Rakshak - India’s Braves’ release tomorrow, Varun Mitra said in an official statement, “I’m grateful for the love pouring in for the film’s trailer. It’s a really special story of bravery and it has been an emotional yet fulfilling experience portraying the character of this real-life hero. It's truly been a huge honour playing An Army Officer in the film.”
Slated to release on August 11 on Amazon miniTV, ‘Rakshak - India’s Braves’ is bankrolled by Juggernaut Productions and directed by Akshay Chobey.
Meanwhile, Varun Mitra has earlier impressed the audiences with his notable work in Amazon Prime Video’s courtroom drama ‘Guilty Minds’ and Homi Adajania’s ‘Saas, Bahu Aur Flamingo’ on Disney + Hotstar.
