Today we complete a year since we launched to an excited community of EV lovers in Bengaluru. While we are celebrating the success of the year gone by, we also want to express our gratitude to you for being an integral part of our journey. Your excellent coverage has provided the community a powerful introduction to our work and services.
A lot has happened since June 2018, to briefly recap we saw the introduction of FAME II that has given a boost to our efforts to deliver the best quality indigenous product. Government ministries are ensuring home and public charging infrastructure is set-up without any hassles. We witnessed the proud moment when the first batch of scooters were delivered to the customers and subsequently stocks being sold out till September 2019. We held the first owners meet in April 2019 and released six major OTA updates since making these one of the fastest iteration cycles in the industry.
Ather is the only company that operates in its sector with the technology to measure the riding pattern and learn from the same. We have put our learnings together in form of infographics with this mail. How long do Bengalureans ride on average? Where do they like to charge? Will electric vehicles "break" the electric grid? There are many questions that electric vehicles have raised and attached are a handful of answers we have.
