Famous Kashmiri Folk Pop Artist Aabha Hanjura’s new track 'Roshe Walla Chalo Chinaro Ke Gharo' is all about her love for her land, Kashmir & a strong desire to go back.



Mumbai 31st July 2019: The valley of Kashmir is filled with rich musical heritage along with different forms of folk music. Qyuki  creator, Aabha Hanjura, an award-winning singer-songwriter, composer and LIVE performer with her roots from Kashmir brings forth ‘Roshe Walla’ a beautiful age-old Kashmiri folk melody into the age of modernization. Roshe Walla showcases the love for the land you belong to. It depicts the hope to see an enlightened world, the courage and desire to seek shelter in your homeland, survival through the conflict, unrest and looking beyond the stains of blood and war into the beautiful valleys of Kashmir.
It brings back the longing to be in one’s land and the triumph of love over hatred for peace. The song transforms back to the blooming beauty and heroism that flows through the state of Kashmir since the 1990s. Aabha Hanjura aims to reunite the victims of proxy wars with their homeland and their lost paradise through her visually appealing storytelling using puppetry art.
While the lyrics highlight the fondness of being in your homeland, the visuals of the day and the evening video together speak an interesting love story through a puppet show. Roshe Walla, a revolutionary song which brings the voice of the valley to the entire nation and the backdrop of the song which conveys an emotion of the sufferings and hardships faced by the proxy war victims and their struggle to overcome the journey and revisit their land.
Speaking about the new track Aabha said, ”This song is a homage to my homeland. It is a story about separation & reunion and the hope that springs from that struggle.
