ALTBalaji's newly launched youth drama Crashh depicts the unconventional siblings' love story worth your watch. A car crash that separates the four siblings into living distinct lives forms the crux of the show. The show that won many hearts on the day of love, stars Rohan Mehra as Rahim, one of the estranged siblings.
Rohan’s character Rahim finds himself in a financially struggling family post his adoption. All the setbacks never made Rahim lose sight of his dreams. A driver with a strong passion for dance is often compared to Ranveer Singh’s “Gully Boy”, as he constantly wishes he was born in a well-to-do family.
Rohan Mehra’s performance in the show is a must-watch, as to how he trained himself to master the hip hop moves. Hip hop as a dance form is very challenging. However, he made sure that he will pull of the dance form effortlessly.
When spoken to Rohan about his preparation for the hip hop dance form, he shared, “I think when you love something, you will go to extremes to perfect it. To play Rahim, an aspiring dancer, I felt like I needed to step up my dance game to make it look as effortless as possible. In truth, dancing isn’t as easy as people make it out to be. The character, Rahim makes you feel like you are watching a dance version of Gully Boy. Taking dance lessons for 2 months before shooting for the series feels like the best decision I ever made. It was the most fun thing anyone could’ve done in preparation for a role.”
The story of Crashh revolves around four siblings whose lives changed when they were in a car crash and lost their parents. They were taken into an orphanage and later split when they were adopted. The oldest sibling later makes it his mission to reunite his long-lost family, facing a lot of obstacles in the process, making the series a very touching one.
The ensemble and talented star cast includes Zain Imam, Aditi Sharma, Anushka Sen, and Kunj Anand in pivotal roles. The series was produced by Shobha Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor and directed by Kushal Zaveri.
Crashh is a must-watch family entertainer that you should watch this weekend on ALTBalaji!
