GETTING META BY DEEPAK GOPALAKRISHNAN
Mumbai, 18th June, 2021': IVM Podcasts has announced the launch of a new podcast ‘Getting Meta’ by long time podcaster and marketing maven – Deepak Gopalakrishnan aka Chuck. Due to release on July 9, the show is a peek into the habits, mental models and rituals of high achievers from writers and podcasters to entrepreneurs, comedians and social workers. This is Chuck's third podcast with IVM Podcasts after ‘The Origin of Things’ and ‘Simblified’.
Chuck speaks to achievers and personalities not about their craft, but about how they got there, how they took the decisions that they did, and how they keep going. A deeply personal show for Chuck, the podcast aspires to inspire and entertain at the same time.
‘The Origin of Things’, currently upto its 50th episode, is a short-form, guess-the-brand show which focuses on the origin story of various brands through intriguing hints, an exciting narration by the host; with the brand being revealed only in the end. ‘Simblified’ attempts to deconstruct trending topics with humour. Hosted by Chuck, Naren, Srikeit and Tony, it is one part news, one part bad jokes, one part Wikipedia research, one part cult references from spending too much time on the internet, one part Wodehouse quotes, and one part quality puns.

Deepak Gopalakrishnan a.k.a. Chuck is a Mumbai-based content & digital marketing strategy freelancer. A professional cartoonist and stand-up comedian in the past, he offers an online digital marketing course and is also a freelance content writer. He currently writes for Arré (essays on technology, culture and politics), The Hard Copy (a publication aimed at providing insights for the Indian design, maker & creator community) and runs a paid newsletter called 'Things of Internet' that comprises one new digital thing every week.
