Suburban Diagnostics helps passengers with rapid COVID-19 test at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport

Foreign travelers mandated to get tested can register for the COVID-19 RAPID RT-PCR test too

Mumbai, September 2021: Suburban Diagnostics, a leading Indian chain of labs has introduced a COVID-19 RAPID RT-PCR test called ‘Abbott ID NOW’ for travelers in urgent need at the Mumbai Airport. This service can also be used by patients in an emergency where an RT-PCR report is needed urgently. The test is available on P4, P9, P10 at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport.

This rapid test is available via online registration on covid19.suburbandiagnostics.com. A token number is generated for the passenger which; along with a valid ID proof like the passport, driving license, aadhar card or voter’s ID; is to be presented at the desk at Mumbai Airport followed by the collection of sample. The test reports are ready and handed over within 30-45 minutes of sample collection.

Suburban Diagnostics was amongst the first diagnostics labs to be permitted to conduct the RAPID COVID-19 RT-PCR test by the ICMR. While this rapid test was first available at their centers at Peddar Road and Andheri, the company has moved all the machinery to the CSMIA to service the test load at the airport. Suburban Diagnostics has conducted more than 30,000+ RAPID RT-PCR tests till date.
