“I feel proud representing India on a global platform” – actress Ashweenee Aher on featuring in The Hollywood Reporter
It’s not every day that you see an Indian face adorn the pages of one of the biggest magazines in the world. But that’s exactly what Ashweenee Aher has managed to do. The actress was recently featured in the Christmas edition of the renowned magazine The Hollywood Reporter and made a splash with her bold and gorgeous all-red ensemble. While the actress has made a giant leap onto the international shores with this appearance, it is a very proud moment for India as well.
Talking about her dare-bare appearance in the magazine, Ashweenee says, “I always feel that there is a thin line between being classy and unpleasant. I make a conscious effort not to cross that line. I have done similar shoots in the past and all those photographs had a certain aesthetic quality to them. When a photograph features in The Hollywood Reporter, you know it has class and style!”
Apart from being an actress, Ashweenee has been a model, fitness enthusiast, fashion icon, and businesswoman. She has been the recipient of several important awards and titles including the ‘Most Stylish Fashion Model’ at FMBAF 2021. Ashweenee has been the face of many reputed magazines in the past including Filmfare. She had featured on the Dubai International Calendar 2020 powered by Filmfare Middle East. In the past, too, she has made India proud by representing it at prestigious events like the Incheon International Single Media Festival South Korea 2018.

On the professional front, she has several projects lined up for release including a Disney+Hotstar original film titled ‘Is It Pyaar’.
