HRF to organise national level Robotics and STEM competition at Science City

Happiness Reserves Foundation (HRF) is organising National level Robotics & STEM competition, World STEM & Robotics Olympiad (WSRO) on 30th April, 2022 at Science City, Ahmedabad.

·         HRF, a non-profit organisation, is bringing a national level robotics festival to Ahmedabad, India.

·         WSRO is a national platform created by HRF to promote science, technology and robotics in India

·         Thousands of engineers, executives, students and families come together to be inspired by industry leaders, examine new startups, build robots for various challenges and learn about the latest technology innovations. 

·         WSRO also promotes international Competition, Robotics & STEM Education for underprivileged students of India.

·         WSRO team has trained more than 6000 school students in the age group of 4-20 years in Robotics & STEM education by domain experts

·         WSRO has been actively promoting technology knowledge and skills since its inception in March 2018.

Vishal Chiripal, Director, Happiness Reserves Foundation (HRF), a non-profit organisation of Chiripal Group said, “AI & Robotics is a futuristic technology that can aid in most complex operations. Robotics Surgery has become quite common. Our aim to propel young students to gain scientific knowledge by conducting these events which appeals to their curious minds. We want to instill scientific thinking in students so as to develop a future ready workforce that will help India achieve numero uno position in the field of science.”

WSRO & HRF hosted the first Robotex India International Level Competition in Ahmedabad in 2018 at SBS. More than 500 students participated in the final round of the competition which was attended by an audience of over 3000 comprising of students, coaches, teachers and parents from all over India. Winners were sponsored to participate in the Robotics World Championship held at Tallinn Estonia in December 2018.

In 2019 WSRO & HRF Hosted  6+ Regional competitions in Delhi, Indore, Mumbai, Pune, Ludhiana & Ahmedabad with over 3000 participants & 500+ teams from all over India followed by a Grand national Competition Robotex India International, a national Level Competition in Ahmedabad in 2019 at Shanti Business School. Winners were sponsored to participate in the Asia World Championship held at Shanghai, China in August 2019 and International Robotics championship at Tallinn Estonia in Dec 2019.

Interesting modules such as Line Following, Pick & Place Robotics, Young Scientist and Entrepreneur are some of the highlights of this event. Start Up exhibition, Robotics workshop and technical session will also be a part of this event.  WSRO expecting more then 100+ teams, 250+ participants, 100+ coaches, 20+ Start Ups will participating from all over India.
