Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Announces a 12-week Online Meditation Course on Mastery Over Mind

Mumbai, 4th July 2023 – Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, one of the top 10 universities in the NIRF rankings 2023, announced the launch online meditation course, "Mastery Over Mind." The 12-week online meditation program provides participants with valuable insights into managing stress, enhancing mental well-being, and achieving inner peace and harmony through the practice of meditation.

The Mastery Over Mind course aims at harnessing the power of meditation and enabling participants to understand the theory and principles behind the working of their minds. Through consistent practice, individuals can cultivate clarity and peace, leading to increased happiness and compassion in their lives. The course consists of three modules, with live interaction sessions and quizzes conducted by experienced mentors after each module. Participants will have access to numerous tools and guided meditation practices that will help them manage stress, enhance mental well-being, and foster a greater sense of happiness and compassion. The program also features self-paced learning, video talks by esteemed monastics and faculty of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, weekly step-by-step guided meditation practices, six free webinars and Q&A sessions, as well as reflective questions, activities, and community discussions.

During this transformative journey, participants will explore the inner workings of the mind and its profound influence on overall well-being. They will also learn energizing and relaxing meditation techniques that promote serenity and inner peace. This unique opportunity allows individuals to discover practical tools to combat stress and enhance their daily lives, while exploring the mind-body connection.

The first batch of Mastery Over Mind online meditation course is scheduled to start 16th July 2023 and is open to individuals of all backgrounds who have an interest in meditation and a desire to learn. A working knowledge of English is required to fully engage with the course materials.
