Mumbai, 3rd November 2023: &flix, Zee English Cluster’s flagship channel for the biggest Hollywood blockbusters is all set to bring the best action to your screen with Martin Lawrence starrer ‘Blue Streak’. The film is being telecasted as part of the property ‘Flix Firecrackers’ which brings to viewers movies with high-octane action and drama every weekday at 9 PM. Blue Streak, which is the story of a former convict who poses as a cop to retrieve a diamond he stole years ago, will be running on Friday, 3rd November.
Blue Streak is a remake of the 1965 British film The Big Job and was directed by Les Mayfield. The film also features Luke Wilson, Peter Greene, Dave Chappelle, and Nicole Ari Parker. It runs around the life of Miles Logan (Martin Lawrence) who is a jewel thief and steals a huge diamond from a heist in Los Angeles. However, he is betrayed by his partner Deacon. Miles manages to hide the diamond in an air duct of a building under construction before he is arrested by the police. Two years later, he is released from prison and goes to retrieve the diamond, only to find out that the building is now the LAPD headquarters. He poses as a detective named Malone and gets partnered with a naive cop. He tries to access the ducts where he hid the diamond, but the journey gets interesting when he also gets involved in solving crimes and catching criminals along the way. Meanwhile, Deacon is still after him and the diamond, and Miles has to outsmart him and the police before he can get his hands on the precious stone.
