Absentia Season 2: A saga filled with mysteries and twists

Mumbai, 5^th December 2023: Zee Café introduced the power-packed show Absentia this November and since then, it has kept audiences entertained to peak. Riding on the success wave of the first season, the channel has now announced the telecast of the second season of the show. The new season is packed with drama and twists. Emily is not a fugitive anymore and the new realities of her life have sunk in and despite uncertainty, she has started investing in her domestic life. Season 2 starts running on Zee Café from 6^th December at 10 PM.

The season starts with a gas attack at a federal building. FBI Headquarters sends Special Agent Julianne Gunnarsen (Natasha Little) to investigate the attack along with Nick (Patrick Heusinger), Emily’s former husband. Meanwhile, in pursuit of her lost memory on six years of captivation, Emily realises that there is a serial killer at loose. Emily gets back to her job as an FBI agent and insists to pursue the serial killer case with special agent Cal Isaac (Matthew Le Nevez). The duo chases the killer to Moldova and reveals a darker secret back in Boston. The two cases, gas attack and serial killing, overlap and the squad begins to hunt the ringleader despite inside politics within the FBI. The revelation clears up a lot from Emily’s past and will certainly be accompanied with multiple twists and turns.
