SHRI JITENDRA SHAH PRESIDENT OF FEDERATION OF ASSOCIATIONS OF MAHARASHTRA (FAM)

A delegation of Federation of Associations of Maharashtra President Shri Jitendra Shah along with Senior Vice President Shri Ashish Mehta, Director General Shri Pritesh Shah and Vice President Shri Jaikrishna Pathak had been to New Delhi for Unveiling of FAM's Calendar 2024. The goal was to get the same done by  Navratnas of Modi Sarkar. However FAM was lucky to meet many more Ministers and MPs of present government.

FAM feels Proud that Unveiling was done the following Ministers/MPs :

1)    Shri Amit Shah, Hon’ble Home Minister

2)    Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda, National BJP President

3)    Shri Nitin Jairam Gadkari, Minister of Road Transport & Highways,

4)    Shri Piyush Goyalji, Hon’ble Minister of Commerce & Industry, and Textiles, 

5)    Shri Hon’ble Shri Arjun Meghwalji , Minister of Law and Justice,

6)    Shri Anurag Thakur ji , Hon’ble Minister for Sports & Youth Affairs & Information & Broadcasting

7)    Shrimant Chh Udayanraje Pratapsinha Bhonsale ,MP

8)    Shri Praful Patel. Mp

9)    Shri Sushil Kumar Modi MP

10)  Shri Manoj Kotakji, MP

11)  Smt. Navneet Ravi Rana  MP

12)  Shri Sunil Singhiji Chairman NATIONAL TRADER’s WELFARE BOARD

FAM also had a meeting with Hon'ble Minister Shri Piyush Goyal Ji on the Hardships faced by our Members of Stainless-Steel Merchants Association in respect of BIS Testing and Thickness Norms faced by Utensils Manufacturing.  He instructed his secretary to immediately examine the difficulties as addressed by FAM. He assured to arrange meeting with the concern BIS Secretary at the earliest and ensure to resolve the same to the satisfaction of the stainless-steel industries. He also helped and arranged meeting with Hon’ble Minister Shri Nitin Gadkariji.

FAM also had a meeting with Hon'ble Minister Shri Nitin Gadkari ji on the issues faced by traders having business establishment on BPT land. He showed his full sympathy and said that this can be resolved only by our Beloved Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji. He assured to discuss it with PM and help in resolving the same amicably.

FAM also submitted Memorandum to FM Mrs. Nirmala Sitharaman ji on various issues of GST and Income Tax, TDS/TCS.

FAM delegation also met Hon. Arjun Meghwal ji and once again requested help the business community in cheque bouncing cases under Section 138 of Negotiable Instrument Act. He assured that government is shortly coming with necessary amendments so that timely justice is given to the affected people.

Fam delegation also congratulated each of the above Ministers and MPs on the landslide victory in Vidhan Sabha elections of Rajasthan Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh.

The Two day Visit to New Delhi was very fruitful for FAM and the Business Community of Maharashtra.
